    What an unmatched pair, the sweet innocent school teacher and the outlaw biker. Loved it! It was an amazingly unconventional love story filled with sweet moments between Silver and Presley but adding to this was Silver’s sweet 8 year old son who was hardened on the outside but still an insecure 8 year old boy. Buster liked his teacher and knew what kind of man his father was often times stepping up to his father to remind him not to hurt his favorite teacher. Interspersed throughout their story are moments of the darkness in the biker lifestyle and how Silver needs to balance his obligations to his club with his new girlfriend. Loved the passion and the HEA. Read it…you won’t be disappointed.

    Well I really did enjoy their story. I’m happy for them. As long as he can stay faithful ! That’s my biggest issue with him. He seemed cool and all. Taking care of his kid. But him cheating, HELL NO !! I wouldn’t be sticking around for nothing. And then he tells her he’s gonna try real hard to be faithful. WHAT Try ? Ummm I don’t think so pal. That’s when I lost respect for her when that all came about in their bed talking about him cheating. He wouldn’t say what happened and then she tells him he’s gonna try better never do it again. Then he says it’s funny how she thinks she has any control over the matter. Again WHAT ?? OH HELL NO. I wouldn’t have left that bed faster than fast. But she stayed cuz she believes he will be better in the future. Hahaha funny He won’t ! And then they won’t last long. Even his kid knew him all to well. How sad ! Like I said. I really liked the story. He didn’t grovel barely and it happened more than once. Nope not for me ! 🙁.

    This is a freakin crazy love story but it's so smokin hot it will set your panties on fire. Silver/Joel is the epitome of a bad-ass alpha male biker and a member of the Savage Beasts MC. His son Buster is the sweetest little boy but a bit rough around the edges and it's no wonder with a father like Silver and a club full of uncles just as bad-ass as his father. He has a special place in his heart for his new teacher Presley Gray. Presley is beautiful and so sweet and kind but she has always felt like something was missing in her life so when she moved for her new job she thought this would be a good opportunity to explore and have an adventure. All she's really ever wanted was a house, a husband children and love, lots and lots of love and the hot screaming sex kind of love would be perfect. Then she meets Silver and her world is turned upside down. At times I would get so pissed off at Silver's character that I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room. At times Presley is such a push over she practically rolls over for Silver and spreads her legs every time he says. And if he says jump she asks how high. I was sitting there thinking WTF?!!! This woman is an idiot. As their relationship grows you can almost see the changes that begin to come over Silver. But he never let his hard outer shell down especially in front of his club brothers. I do have to say though, these two have a hot and heavy all consuming sex life and WOW do the sex it up! Lol! At times I cried so hard. Poor Presley gets pulled into the ugly terrifying side of Silver's life and I have to say she was really strong but damn Silver for just brushing off her feelings. I freakin love Hayley and her books. Her imagination blows my mind and I love every minute of it. I can't wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

    She went edgy and darker than before and I liked it.

    Color me confused, I loved dark and edgy, but usually a hard no for me, is when there is cheeting, now to be fair, the first time they had not really started a relationship, the second time i is aluted too, but not confirmed.

    This is a hard core MC romance, with some serious crime sindicate mc style vibes. Silver is in one word, hot, dangerious and somewhat sweet, he lives the life, this club is not trying to get clean, its not trying to save one innocent at a time, this is a club that is criminal and does not appoligize for it. Silver is all that and more, he is fighting throughout the book his natural biker inclinations and he is torn when it comes to the heroine she is not made for that life, in fact she is sweet and totally clueless which made er do some ignorant stuff, to be fair, she did not know and propably never read a biker romance in her life to clue her in.

    This is not a book for women who lean towards hard feminism, this book is for women who, can relate to the crazy love brings and the mad decisions we make, we shake our heads and move on or stick. Our girl in this book, is not a feminist, she is the home and hearth kind a woman, she is educated but knows what she has always wanted, that is made clear in the story from the begining. She has to dig deep at times, to find the trust, and in doing so, she gets her dreams. Lets leave it at that.

    Trigger warning: kidnap and and mental and physical abuse, the hero gets there, just not quite fast enough, but it still could trigger some. There is cheeting, some would consider it so, but it does not ruin the book, since this book is hard and edgy it is dark, and the series will be dark, which makes this a good read for me, except for what I have already mentioned but pushing through that, figuring Silver out and the club dynamics and situations, yeah well the book was still worth it and I fully recomend. It will also be a re-read and a series I will follow. How far one of my fave authors will push us, is half the fun. THIS IS a HAPPY ENDING BOOK <3

    Ps update. Was going to follow this series, sadly I will have to rethink that. The second book got released so I took the sample, and no just no, I do not read about women who have no self respect who are w.h.or.e.s or s.l.u.t.s right from the start in the sample for Esther and Wolf I knew I would hate them, cruelty is not a good mix in a romance, abuse does not work either, while I can handle a bad hero it needs to be balanced by a woma iof strength and character I look for redemption . I read the bad ratings reviews for book 2, read the sample and did not want to waste my money on this series, I had hoped for so much more but the author decided to go harder than with the first book and keep going in that direction. Downgrading the rating to 3 stars. No book besties in this series at least as far as Esther is concerned and it looks like the bad continues in book 3.

    I wasn’t going to get this book but then I saw so many posts about how great it was and I bought it. I figured if I loved 99% of her books I’d like this one too and I was correct.

    This book I found to be different from the rest more innocent but more twisted if that makes sense. I hope there are more to come because I NEED to know the stories of so many more of the Beasts !

    Wolfe and Esther and also Hawk. Life won’t be complete without their stories.

    I love this story so much. The author wow it in such a way that even though it's not my usual ideal (there is some cheating) I couldn't put the book down.

    It made me love and hate Silver with equal measure, again the sign of a great writer because my emotions were involved.

    I'm not sure I coukd have stuck by him, regardless of why he does what he does, but that why I'm not the leading lady.

    I was looking for something like this! Not too dark but not Hallmark either. Bit gritty & brutal. More "real" ( I know it's not, but just by a comparison) than milion MC books I read where everyone becomes a saint the moment insta love hits them.
    I don't understand the FMC complely. MMC is infuriating to put it mildly. And yes I hate insta love but I really enjoyed this book and I'm planning to read the rest of the series.

    This one is definitely not an easy story. It’s old school gritty, raw MC storytelling. There were moments I despised Joel. Wanted to punch him in the face. Having said that it kept me gripped & I binged it in one session. Definitely recommend.
