Five Ahhhhhmazing Stars!
The fourth installment in the Cloverleigh Farms Series is here and it is absolutely ahhhhhmazing!! Melanie Harlow delivers a beautiful story about healing and moving on after heartache and I clung to each word like it was my lifeline. The chemistry between Sylvia and Henry was undeniable and explosive once they gave in to it. Given their pasts, they definitely had some hurdles to overcome and they didn't always have the best timing, but Henry's not the type of man that's easily deterred: “You’re going to let me stick around. And you’re going to let me love you, and prove to you that we can build something so real and so strong, it’s unbreakable.” I loved catching up with all the other characters in the series and couldn't be happier for the way things worked out for Sylvia & Henry! And OH.MY.GOD. the April backstory tidbit we got has me beyond excited for the next & final installment in this absolutely fantastic series. ❤

    This book gave me so many emotions but I feel like I did a lot of crying 😭 In this book But Henry was so understanding how could you not love that man . Sylvia putting her kids before her own love life you never know what your going to do unless your in that situation I’m so glad to watch there relationship grow into something amazing

    4 “promise” “wine” Kisses

    Welp…another amazing book where Melanie Harlow completely sweeps me away and leaves me in a happy pile of mush. I’ll seriously never stop enjoying the way this feels and this is one of the many reasons that when I hear that she has a new book coming out, I get super excited. Her covers are always gorgeous, I can never get enough of her characters and she always leaves me with a smile – who wouldn’t say yes to that?!? I could legit go on for days about all the reasons why I will always read Melanie’s books, but that’s not what we are here for. We are here today for Sylvia and Henry. The moment I saw the hints that Melanie was dropping in Insatiable , I started getting excited. The fact that both Sylvia and Henry were divorced…the fact that they’re both older…there was a lot to get my spidey senses tingling…and I truly couldn’t wait to see what Melanie was going to do – and she did not disappoint in the least. So…Unbreakable is part of a series – the Cloverleigh Farms Series – each book can be read as a standalone but I’ll be honest, the books mean more if you read them as part of the series. Each book builds off the previous one and these sisters are so not to be missed. So “technically” it’s not mandatory that you read Irresistible , Undeniable and Insatiable first…but I do recommend the books and if you’re a series lover like me, you will love the experience as a whole.

    Sylvia Sawyer…formerly Baxter…but there is no need to waste any words on the pile of garbage that is Sylvia’s ex-husband. He was trash in Insatiable and he only got worse. But from what I learned about Sylvia in Insatiable, it only made me more excited to get her book and really get to know her. And oh my goodness…did she deserve this book! She is not the same person she was when she got married 15 years ago…I don’t want to say it is all her ex’s fault, but he had a lot to do with how and why she is the way that she is. She’s lost so much…her ability to trust another person, how she values and see’s herself – the only positive thing that came out of her marriage was her two children…and that is one area she definitely excelled at. Sylvia is an amazing mother…she is willing to do anything for her kids, I mean she stayed in an unhappy marriage for longer than she should have and that probably had a lot more to do with them. But it’s time for Sylvia to start giving herself some TLC…cause girlfriend needs it BIG TIME! And there is a certain winemaker that is definitely up to the task.

    ‘Henry studied me for a moment. “I think it’s really brave, what you’re doing.”
    “Thanks, but I don’t feel brave. I just feel . . . broken.”
    “You’re not broken, Sylvia.” His voice was firm.
    “No?”
    He slowly shook his head. “No.”
    My heart skipped a beat. I wanted to believe him. I wanted to thank him for listening to me and talking openly about himself. I wanted him to set his coffee cup down, move closer to me, put his hands in my hair.’

    Henry DeSantis…gah! This man…this wonderful, beautiful, sweet, kind hearted man. I adored Henry…simply and truly adored him. He’s so down to earth…so gentle spirited…so freaking perfect. I know Melanie knows how to create amazing, sweet guys that I fall head over heels for and Henry is in seriously good company with the other hero’s in the Cloverleigh Farms Series…but good gravy, Henry was next level. He pulled on every single heart string I could have…his divorce, his desire to be a dad, his secret nerdy side, his passion for wine…he could truly do no wrong for me. And then, seeing him with Sylvia just brought him to a whole other level. It was like he’d found his missing puzzle piece – his life was fine without Sylvia but once she clicked into place, everything was just better. After all the heartbreak and sadness that Henry had experienced, that was really all I wanted for him…to see him happy and complete and knowing that Sylvia gave that to him made my heart want to burst.

    “And I’m still a little wary of. . .of letting myself fall. It’s not that I don’t trust you,” I went on quickly. “I know what kind of man you are. But it might take time for me to really feel safe turning over my heart. It’s just starting to feel whole again.”
    “It’s okay,” he said, pressing his lips to my forehead. “Your whole heart is worth the wait.”

    I absolutely loved the connection between Henry and Sylvia…they had this instant bond and I was simply in love. Yes, it was hot and fast in the beginning but…they really deserved that. Both of them hadn’t had a real spark/connection with their ex’s and there was no denying their physical connection. But…that wasn’t all they had – Melanie really surprised me with the flow and I liked that she did that…it worked for Henry and Sylvia and I loved what it did for their relationship in the long run. Watching them develop a friendship and a bond over and above their initial connection was more than I could have hoped for. They truly just enjoyed spending time together…whether it was talking endlessly about everything and nothing or him teaching her how to care for the vines…it really didn’t matter, they just thrived together and it was beautiful.

    ‘He had this way of calming even the worst chaos in my head, of helping me keep things in perspective, of reminding me what really mattered. He knew how to make me laugh too, even at the most difficult times. I always felt understood with Henry. Accepted for who I was, faults and all.’

    Melanie Harlow is the queen of writing feel good romances and I can’t help but fall in love every time. Her characters go straight to my heart…her story lines pull me in….and in no time flat I’m in a love coma with no desire for it to ever end. I feel like she has always done that to me…and I have to attribute it to her characters, they’re so well developed, authentic and just so real. They’re not perfect…each one has their own journey to get through…but it’s a wonderful ride either way. Melanie has completely blown me away with the Cloverleigh Farms Series…these Sawyer sisters are something else…full of love and emotion and heart. I love how unique each girl is but at their core, they have the same family values. And seeing their family continue to grow…just *sigh* This is what Melanie does to me! I’m reduced to wordless mush.

    “How do you know you’re in love with her?”
    At first I wasn’t sure how to answer the question — but then I pictured Sylvia, and the ache in my chest intensified. “Because when I think about her, my heart races. Because when she’s in the room, I can hardly breathe. Because I want to be with her all the time. Because I want to do things for her that make her smile. Because when she’s happy, I’m happy. Because she’s the first person in my head when I wake up, the last person I think about before I fall asleep, and the only person in the world who makes me feel like I’m the person I want to be.”

    Gah…I love Melanie’s endings. It’s probably because by that point I can’t wipe the smile off my face if I tried…and make that reason #95824 why I am addicted to Melanie’s books. Was some of the stuff predictable? Yes. Did I care? No…cause it made me happy and what it did for the characters was amazing. On the surface I can see someone reading the endings and thinking they’re sappy or cheesy or just a bunch of fluff but guess what – I’m here for it! I love it…can’t get enough of it…it’s the perfect way to give the characters I love everything they deserve. And it’s wonderful. So, we still have one sister left…the illusive April – a lot came out about April in Unbreakable…lots of hidden secrets that had never been mentioned before and oooooh boy am I ready for her book! Cannot wait to see what Melanie does with Unforgettable …pretty sure she is going to make me cry, but I know I’ll love it either way! #TakeMeToCloverleighFarms

    Sylvia has had it with putting up with BS from her ex and his new J Crew Kimmy wife. Fired up by about 6 too many mimosas, she lets them have it at a country club Christmas brunch. Along with calling out her fake country club friends.

    She's moving back to Cloverleigh farms with her 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son. The kids are devastated about the divorce and the end of life as they once knew it.

    Enter winemaker Henry DeSantis. He's also reeling from the end of his marriage. He wanted the fairy tale with a wife, home, and family, but longstanding and insurmountable infertility issues tore them apart.

    Sylvia & Henry know each other, but they never really *got to know* one another on a personal level. Now, they have divorce in common - and as Sylvia wants to learn about the family winery, they find themselves learning that they have something special.

    Sylvia is cautious, she doesn't want to rock the boat and risk upsetting her kids. Plus, she doesn't think Henry would want to give up his dream of a family of his own. 13 year old Whitney is a great kid, but she is initially resistant to thinking about her mom with a new man in her life. I love that Sylvia recognizes that a therapist might help her kids come to terms with their issues, although she's still determined to forge ahead without Henry in her life.

    Melanie Harlow is a new author for me and, I think I've been bewitched! I've just finished the 4th book of the series wth only one more to go 😔 in only two days time! Her characters and stories are wonderfully written with all the feels and lots of 🌶🌶🌶🌶! I'll be reading her follow-up series after the next one, Unforgettable so, I still have something to look forward to! 😊

    Loved how Melanie touched on real life issues. One being divorcing with children. Sylvia chose to leave her dream house and move back to the family farm, hoping to help her two children after their father cheated on their mother. Both of the children are having issues with over coming this situation. Thankfully all the sisters are around to help them all. Henry who’s great at his job and loves sharing what he does with others, he’s also recently divorced too. But he has agreed to show Sylvia the ropes and teach her about wine making. The connection they have is amazing. Do they make it through all the obstacles to fine a HEA. Great book. Love the real life stuff that is talk about in this book.

    This story grabbed me immediately. I loved this couple. Loved everything about them. And the realistic issues with 13 year old Whitney added to the emotional angst perfectly.

    This book 4 in the series may be my new favorite. Looking forward to the final book now.

    This book hit home for me. As a divorced mom with two kids who met the love of her life, I enjoyed every hot, minute of it!

    Coming home to Cloverleigh Farms was everything thing they needed to start heeling! This book was great from the get go.

    I loved the characters, the writing is very easy to read and it is definitely going to keep you interested.

    It's the best romance book i've read so far, and God knows how many I have read.

    I'm a guy, who don't let emotions slip easily, but this story right there is just so beautiful. I think I cried 4 times ( from happiness). Sylvia such a good mom. And Henry, such a good guy. It was so intense. I even have been horny several times. I read it in one sitting. I loved it. I f*cking recommend it.
