Review

"Every now and then an author comes along that creates stories that keep you up all night because you just have to find out what happens next. This is it. Love the characters and the story lines are easy to read but keep you guessing. Laugh out loud at times and nail biting action. I recommend this to all my friends and family and now to you a complete stranger on the internet. Buy it. I can't wait for the next one."

"Steve Higgs writes some brilliant, unique laugh out loud and edge of your seat books. This is one of them. Blue Moon Investigation are a team that looks into the paranormal, which doesn't exist right? Their clients seem to think so and clues seem to point that way but are they right? I love the way the stories come together and the problem is solved."

"Good read as before, found this one even better then last one I read, looking forward to reading next one."

About the Author

However, calling it his first award suggests that there have been more, which there have not. Accolades may come but, in the meantime, he is having a ball writing mystery stories and crime thrillers and claims to have more than a hundred books forming an unruly queue in his head as they clamour to get out.He lives in the south-east corner of England with a duo of lazy sausage dogs. Surrounded by rolling hills, brooding castles, and vineyards, he doubts he will ever leave, the beer is just too good.

When Steve Higgs wrote his debut novel, Paranormal Nonsense, he was a captain in the British Army. He would like to pretend that he had one of those careers that must be blacked out and generally denied by the government, and that he has to change his name and move constantly because he is still on the watch list in several countries. In truth, though, he started out as a mechanic - not like Jason Statham in the film by that name, sneaking around as a hitman, but more like one of those sleazy guys who charges a fortune and keeps your car for a week even though the only thing you went in for was a squeaky door hinge.

At school, he was largely disinterested in all subjects except creative writing, for which he won his first prize at the age of ten. However, calling it the first prize he won suggests that there were other prizes, which is not the case. Awards may yet come, but in the meantime, he enjoys writing mystery and thriller novels and claims to have more than a hundred books forming a restless queue in his mind because they are desperate to be written.

Now retired from the military, he lives in southeast England with a duo of lazy sausage dogs. Surrounded by rolling hills, brooding castles, and vineyards, he doubts he'll ever leave, the beer is just too good.

Undead Incorporated is another inspired Steve Higgs story about Tempest Michaels and the crew of Blue Moon Investigations. His characters are real, his descriptions of events are exquisite. He relieves the tension with laugh inducing humor. As he investigates the convoluted details of whether or not there is an undead husband roaming about, he also fits in a quickie 'monster in the closet ' which underscores the need to be careful what you eat before closing yourself in a small closet with someone having intestinal issues. The danger isn't life threatening, but incredibly real.

Tempest gets a client who tells him that her husband is dead, but that both she and a friend saw him after his death. She hires Tempest to investigate.

He was the leader of an army special ops team that Tempest and Big Ben worked with in the past.

Not only that, but both he and the other members of the team were all killed in "car accidents".

When all the "dead" men turn out to be alive, Tempest and Big Ben know these guys are especially dangerous.

Exploding cars, destroyed homes, threatening calls from Undead Inc. When these creeps go after Tempest, his family and friends, they are playing with fire.

And Tempest, Big Ben, Amanda and Mr. Michaels can really kick it in a fight!

I have read every blue moon book and am always excited to get a new one. Tempest is my type of action hero. Brilliant, sometimes clueless about ladies, tolerant and completely loveable. His family is half maddening and half great as all families. Tempest takes on a group of all together wrong ones, defeats them and saved the day but never ruins the moment by being too egotistical. The only thing missing is more stories...especially starting Jane/James. But Frank and Jane show just how wonderful folks that aren't cut from the typical action hero cloth can be, yet again. Oh, how I wish I could walk along High Street and meet them all.

I love this series, the characters are all entertaining, intense, and just a lot of fun. You never know what this team will get into, and this time it was solving the issue of a ghost husband and a quicker mystery about a monster in a closet. I hope this series never ends, it’s just too good.

The enigma is a man that died, was id’d and buried, then took to the streets again. Strange enough but when the investigation draws the entire team in what they begin uncovering puts them all in their greatest danger yet. Excellent mystery, nice twists, engaging storyline. Good read.

What can I say, another thrilling adventure for the Blue Moon Investigations team. Once I started I couldn’t stop and read the whole book in ons session. I love the similarity yet difference in each story. Also as the stories have developed there is now a regular crew that are there to back the team up, support and advise them even including his parents. I love his fathers character particularly who seems to be having a second lease of life the exploits. I’ve just downloaded the next in the series and look forward to devouring the pages. I’d definitely this book to family and friends.

    Well its Tempests latest case,
What can I say it has all the normal fun, thrilling, chilling rides with extra dose of Big Ben, I mean humour😜.
Tempests mother up to her normal ways, Temps dad just as much fun and CI Ian Quinn stuck in his🐖🐷 ways.

Tempest & Amanda finally admit how they "feel" about each other🎉🎉🎉.

I missed the attendance of Patience she is always a ray of sunshine of a dark cloudy day.

But hail, rain, snow or shine
Steve Higgs you've done it again-Thank u, when did u say the next one was due out 🤪😆😝
