Chloe and Oliver have known each other since birth as their moms are best friends and this book was fun for so many reason..... second chance romance ✓ friends to lovers ✓ frenemies to lovers ✓ off-the charts chemistry ✓ a world you can lost in ✓ Chloe and Oliver have deep connection the read can feel, it bleeds of the pages even as they try to fight it. The happy these two find does not come easy but in the end you know it is the happy that is meant to be and perfect for them! ps the last few pages had me grinning from ear to ear! I love this world and the Cloverleigh Farms series and though this book is 100% stand alone I highly recommend book 1 a single Dad romance Irresistible.

    Chloe and Oliver have been friends since birth or pretty much since then. Their mothers are best friends. Always together doing something they shouldn’t be doing, taking dares and getting into trouble. Oliver wasn’t ever serious and seemed to take Chloe for granted. Finally, she had enough when they made plans and he disappeared to the other side of the world without telling her. Their love for each other was something else, but they didn’t tell each other about those feelings. Oliver comes back and needs Chloe’s help with something, and Chloe thinks he’s got something up his sleeve again. Taking another dare, but will this one end in happiness? We shall see.

    This would absolutely be 5 stars from me if Oliver Ford Pemberton hadn't been such an entitled @$$ through the first 75% of the book.

    Oliver is 2 days older than Chloe Sawyer. Their parents have been friends forever, and they spent a lot of time together when they were growing up. Always challenging or daring the other to do something - mostly seems like it was Oliver doing the daring, even when he had no intention of following through on what he might owe if Chloe took the dare (and she always did).

    After years of being an untrustworthy instigator, Oliver finally grows up in a hurry when he realizes that he might have finally lost the last chance he'll ever have to keep Chloe's heart. It's a shame that it so often takes the fear of absolute loss to wake some people up - but Oliver's redemption came in the nick of time and I'm more than happy to give them 4 stars.

    Also - Gran is 100% the best character in this story.

    This book really touched me because I feel like my husband and I have a very similar dynamic as Chloe and Oliver. They've had ups and downs throughout their whole relationship but, somehow they can never resist each other and they always come back to each other in the end. Their relationship is anything but perfect and you're not sure if they should really be together or if they will survive each other. I loved that this was a friends almost frenemies to lovers story. It was entertaining and fun to read  I loved the story and characters, the whole Sawyer family is just a blast to read about and I love that we're going to get more of them in the other sisters' books! I can't wait to read Insatiable! Another winner by Melanie!

    Melanie Harlow has officially become my favourite small town author out there. I love how cozy and close to the heart her stories are, always about love, family and friendship.

    This book follows Chloe and Oliver’s journey through all the years. Their families have been friends for years, which forced them to be close from the beginning. What started as a friendship slowly became more and when feelings get in between, things get messy.

    I appreciated all the flashbacks to their story in the past, which made me understand both characters on their own. Tbh, at first I was 100% all about these two, but the more I got to know them, the more i disliked Oliver. Don’t get me wrong, he is cute on his own, it’s how he always messes up when it comes to Chloe.

    I wish she was harder on him, but sadly she always forgave him quickly, which also annoyed me. I feel there was no grovel at all, something I need on all my second chance books.

    As for Chloe, I liked her from the beginning. She is the impulsive and reckless daughter, but at the end of the day, she is a sweet girl on her own. The only thing I wish she had is more backbone towards Oliver.

    However, im glad they both had their HEA after all they went thru.

    Honestly Im excited to meet Sylvie and April on their own books and see what goodness Melanie has written for us 👀.
