Uninhibited: Bainbridge University Book 3 Kindle Edition

Uninhibited

I can’t be trusted with anyone’s heart, especially hers.

Whit

My first memory is of breaking my mom’s heart. Yea, people know me as the good-time guy, the guy with the jokes, the deejay who's always up for a party. But underneath all of that, I’m the guy who lets people down wherever I go.

The one person who sees past all my bullshit is Lucy. She always has, since we were thirteen and she hated my guts. But I’ve never hated her. Lucy is my ideal in every way-- gorgeous and funny and smart and takes no shit with an ass that won’t quit. Too bad she’s also my stepsister.

But don’t worry, ma. Nothing to see here. Afterall, Lucy can’t stand me, so when we go roadtripping together, nothing will happen, right?

Except it does. And neither one of us is ready for the fallout.

Uninhibited is a full-length novel with a fun-loving hero, a straightlaced, goal-oriented heroine, a Stepsister TROPE, and an HEA. It is the third inter-connected standalone in the Bainbridge University Series and it follows Uncovered and Unknown. They are all standalones, but for the best reader experience, they should be reader in order.

UNINHIBITED (Bainbridge University, #3) . . . We step into the world of Bainbridge University. Our new adults embark on a new world and make their way through it the best they can. At Bainbridge University, we meet four young men that have forged a bond between them that was more than the family they were born into. This time we meet Whit. Whit and Lucy have a history unlike that of the other brothers in the chapel. Whit finds himself 13-year-old and share a confidence with a 13-year-old Lucy. The two of them meet in summer camp over next several years. The cement a friendship that could have been more, but one of them have some strong future goals. This ends what could have been growing between the two. Years later is where we find Whit in all his glory. He is not very motivated in his direction, but he can cook, he is a great friends, and he love his mom. And he has mental health issues. These issues are touched upon in the story but not beat to death. I am not sure if that was a good or bad thing. That matter of mental health can create an issue. I think the way Andi has it works with this story. Lucy. She is a different subject matter. She felt that her goals for life were the only thing. She had plans to be something more. She had her steps planned out. She never and he never anticipated they would see each other again so soon. One evening. One party. One morning after. Two phone calls to two people brings them both back into each other orbit on a regular basis. Watching the two of them grow more together was beautiful. Their struggles and disappointments were shared. They were indeed friends. Friends that became more. Their bond was strong and drove each to do that extra to show support to the other. Thank you Andi. I am so anticipating the next brother's story. I have had a delightful journey with the first three brothers. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Easy-to-read Realistic Wonderful characters Entertaining Tragic Mental Health Friendship Family Found/Created Family

I have been dying for Whit and Lucy and these two did not disappoint. Such a fun opposites attract book! Whit and Lucy couldn't be any more different if they tried but they were so perfect together. The totally balanced each other. Their banter and chemistry were perfection. And the angst for these step-siblings was amazing. I loved them so much but now I need some chicken parmesan and Booker's story stat.

Whit and Lucy are true Soulmates from early on in life. Their relationship is deep, steamy, and romantic. This book includes a lot of the "Chapel Family" which I love because they are such a tight-knit, fun, dynamic group. I love this book so much!
Added 10/16/23 - I adore "Uninhibited" and the "Bainbridge University series! I've read the original version and love this new version with its amazing cover and bonus content even more! It's funny, sentimental, steamy, and romantic!🤣💕🔥💖

I struggled with the first half of this book and it took me a minute to figure out why. But it was the lack of "the boys". We didn't have that awesome dynamic and sense of family from all the boys until about half way thru, and it was truly missed. The second half of this book was so much better. It gave me all those warm and fuzzy feelings I've come to expect from this series.

Absolutely love Whit and Lucy!! These two so complete opposites but fit together like the perfect match that they are!

Uninhibited is a new adult, forbidden love, step siblings romance with a redemption story to fill your heart out! By far this was my favorite of the series! Caleb Whitman is just something special all on his own. He is the ultimate golden retriever hero! Lucy is such a strong heroine on her own. Even though they are opposite they match each other perfectly! These two definitely packed the chemistry and the connection. This book was so good in my opinion!

Definitely a great read for all! These characters are so easy to love and so easy to enjoy! I definitely recommend this book for others to read!

Uninhibited is such a heartbreaking story but also very heartwarming as well, this story is truly one of learning to forgive oneself and finding happiness in return. This story begins with two young kids who meet at summer camp, Whit & Lucy, recognize they have this unique pull to each other but only have the summer together so it becomes a growing experience for them doing everything from a first kiss to exploring each other's bodies until their last summer together at age 16. Whit is a very outgoing, extrovert who has to constantly be doing something or he will find himself in trouble. He also deals with some severe depression, anxiety and sleep issues brought on partially by guilt from his father losing his life while saving Whit's when he was two years old. Whit feels as if he has ruined his mom's life and can't forgive himself for it, this in turn also makes him feel he has nothing to offer anyone for fear of just letting them down. However, he is extremely loyal, sweet, kind, and loves his friends and family unconditionally. Lucy is Whit's exact opposite, she has to have everything planned down to the minute, she is very organized and at a young age begins planning for her future but this in turn leaves her very lonely, with little friends or socialization outside or anything that deals with school or her future career.

Although Whit and Lucy may be opposite everytime they happen to run into each other they have this pull that they can't fight and they feel like they are soulmates but will never work due to their very different lifestyles. To throw a crazy wrench into their lives Whit's mom and Lucy's dad end up getting married. Since they both feel that their parents deserves happiness they don't want to do anything to jeopardize that and now that they are step-siblings they know they would be judged if they decided to date. Needless to say this story has a lot of angst. It is a slow-burn but once Whit and Lucy give into their feelings it becomes a very sexy read.

Uninhibited has such a terrific storyline that really draws you in and keeps you engrossed from beginning to end. It's angsty, sexy, sweet, sad has a lot of family and friend drama but wonderfully ends with an HEA. Whits' group of friends add fun to the story as well as people that Whit befriends along the way. This is an emotional, sexy, college romance that I highly recommend everyone read, it really has so much more occur than what I have included in this review.

Seriously Andi Burns books just keep being so amazing. Whit and Lucy have loved each other since they were 13years old. Each year at summer camp they fell a little harder until they find out that they are going to be step siblings. These two couldn't stay apart though. The way they love each other is simply beautiful. I rooted for them the whole time and laughed at Whit's jokes. His 80s music knowledge is seriously enviable. Lucy is his complete opposite and yet they work. A must read book.

Great series! Go buy them all, read them all and fall in love. Each book is the kind of book that you race to finish, but then are sad when it ends... can not wait for Booker's story!
