    This book is a continuation of Thomas and Lina's story which began in Unorthodox Therapy and picks up a while after their break up. Lina barely sleeps, still fearful even though her ordeal with Seth is over and he's safely locked away in prison. Her heart is still broken because Thomas walked away and although she is now in a relationship with Nate, she can't forget Thomas or how it felt to submit to him.

    Thomas is a drunken mess of a man because of all the guilt and regret he carries, not only because of Seth, but because he lost control of himself with Lina. Allie, a Domme and Thomas's best friend steps in. Her concern for Thomas eventually leads to her manipulating both Lina and Thomas into a surprise meeting at her birthday party where they take their first steps at reconciliation.

    The BDSM scenes are frequent, intense, and graphic. Sadomasochism is not my kink of choice but I figure what consenting adults do is their business. What I really respond to here is the love story of Thomas and Lina as they try to get past the fear, the anger, and the hurt they've both been living with. They must if they are to have any chance of a future together. The story is very engrossing, the writing is great despite a few grammatical errors. This book has a good HFN ending but I can't wait to see what happens in book three. 4.5 stars.

    This continuation of Thomas and Lina's story truly breaks your heart. Their breakup is so sad and even though you know it is happening you still want it to stop. Seth is such a poisonous character that wrecks havoc even when he is gone. Allie is such a strong character and is a force to be reckoned with. You can't help but fall in love with her no holds barred approach. Allie plays such a large role in this story that you want to know more about her. I hope that she gets her own story.
    Just when you think Thomas and Lina are moving on and dealing with their lives they get thrown a curveball. I am not sure it's even possible but this is even better than the first book.

    This is book 2 of the series and is just a brilliant as the first one.

    Lina and Thomas are both struggling to deal with their break up and the aftermath of Seth’s abduction of Lina in the first book.

    Book two is more of an intense insight into the psychological effects of the breakup, and the healing process that each party needed to go through for them to find their love again.

    The hot scenes are still as exciting and there’s a bit of suspense built in right towards the end. You will ask yoursel, what is Seth going to do? Hows Nate’s involvement going to come into play.

    The only disappointing part of this series is that book 3 is not available, and if the time it took while we waited for book 2 is any indication, book 3 will only arrive after many disappointing postponements and much anticipation.

Pushing boundaries to the extreme seems the only way to let go and move on from the past.
