    She’s lost, numb, all alone. She’s afraid. The fear itself is excruciating. Fear of the future, of possibility, of hope, of love. That fear rules her every waking moment. Each step, each breath. She’s been forever, changed.

    He’s never wanted forever. Never wanted to get married, have kids or the white picket fence. He doesn’t think it’s in the cards for him. He’s never fallen in love, never felt the ache of needing to be by someone all the time, never felt the anxious butterflies in his gut with the nerves of something new. He’s settled on being alone.

    Sometimes when you least expect it, amazing things happen that will knock you over and change your whole way of thinking. All it takes for Christian is a warm laugh from across the room to irrevocably change his life forever.

    A plethora of emotions. You laugh, you cry, you swoon. There are highs and lows and every emotion in between.     How do you open your heart to new love when the last was torn from you. She has lost everything and moved to be closer to her parents for help. He had no intention of ever marrying or even having kids. He hasn't been shy about shouting it for all to hear. Then he met her. Both afraid of the direction they are going in but her more than him. He's got his heart in his hand on a silver platter now all he has to do is get her on the same page. Fighting with a ghost will never be easy but if he can break through her defenses it could be the best thing that ever happened to him.

    This was a wonderful series although it did have more sex than I enjoy these days which meant I skipped portions of each book. I do love this author's style but I will probably pass on reading her work if it will all have this much sex. I'm old school and while I have and do read stories that have sex I prefer it to be less or clean these days. While the battles her characters face are real and life changing this author doesn't overdo the angst. This is a great series and was most definitely worth the time.

    A story that you will feel deep in your soul. Beauty can come from tragedy. My heart ached for Rory and Leah. I cant even begin to imagine the pain she felt. She is definitely a strong woman. And Christian is such a love. For a guy that said he wasnt the marriage and family type he sure fell hard. And not for just 1 pretty girl but 2. It shows that it only takes 1 person to change your future into something you never pictured.

    I have read the other books in this series and all pull many emotions. I really liked this one the best. This heroine, Rory, is so strong but needs someone to lean on at the same time. She has had so much loss, but she still lives. Christian is enjoying life and his friends and family. Roey and Christian meet and they feel something, so much that it scares Rory and Christian can't stop thinking about her. This is an emotional read but so worth it.

    Unspoken Fears by H.P. Davenport is the fourth book in the Unspoken Love series, but the first I have read in the series and by this author. It was such a touching and emotional story about two broken and lost people who did not want to let love in.

    Christian has never believed he was the marrying type of man. Love and children were not in his future, or so he thought. Then Rory came into his life and heart. Now he is fighting for the woman he wants. Rory, however, is heartbroken and pushes Christian away at every turn. Her background is heartbreaking. Can Rory ever learn to let love in?

    This was such a captivating read with all the feels. I am very excited to read more from this author. Though Unspoken Fears by H.P. Davenport is part of the series, I enjoyed it on its own, though there are characters from previous book. I am excited to go back and read their stories.
