    This is the first book I've read by this author and I'm looking forward to reading more. I have to be in a very certain mood to read Daddy kink, and I generally don't love age play. Something about the blurb for this book intrigued me and I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised and read the book in 2 sittings.

    Kyle is trying to get out of going to his brother's wedding by making up a Daddy Dom boyfriend. When his brother tries to call his bluff, Kyle asks his friend Rand to play the role. The two start by practicing their roles at home, the progress to using their new roles at work as well. By the time the wedding roles around, they both have very real feelings and neither wants to go back to how they were before.

    Kyle and Rand are super sweet together. They both start out so worried about how they think they are supposed to be and making their fake relationship and dynamic believable to Kyle's family. They seemed to fall into their roles fairly quickly. The reactions of Kyle's family were hilarious, particularly his brother. The book isn't super high on heat, but we do get a couple spicy scenes.

    Overall, a great intro to me for this writer. This was a great read for the mood I was in. Lots of caretaking Daddy Dom-ness, with a touch of heat and some family embarrassment.

I read fast and go through A LOT of books, but nothing I’ve read recently has touched me or made me laugh like this one did! It was such a relief to read a story without the “requisite” break up and make up toward the end, which so many authors seem to feel the need for. I mean, sometimes it feels necessary and organic, but most times it just frustrates me because it feels… well, unnecessary or forced, like the author felt it was expected and needed to deliver. There was nothing forced about this story, it just flowed so beautifully! Hoping this is available in Audible because I’d love to listen to this story while washing dishes, sometime soon!

    I LOVE Carly Marie's books and have read them all so far. However, to anyone just discovering them, attaching the note that each book can be read as a standalone does a HUGE disservice to the readers as it is essential to read ALL the books in the correct order to really get maximum enjoyment from this author's lovely, feel good stories. I read them out of order and I would have enjoyed them so much more if I had gotten the entire experience. **This book must be read before Nathan (#2, Johnson Family) unless you like reading a book and not having a clue what the characters are talking about and feeling like you're missing out on insider knowledge (which you would be).** The best order is to read the Finding Home series first, then the Undisclosed series, then Embracing the Storm, then Zander (#1, Johnson Family), then Untamed duo, then Nathan. THEN you have to wait eagerly and impatiently for the new books to come out! Enjoy!

So much trust and desire and love in this book-it warmed my heart. Honestly hearing about it being a fake daddy boy relationship, I didn’t know what to expect but seeing them find their roles and how much Rand loved being the caretaker and how much he did and loved doing for His little one and then Kyle be able to find his little space is just so sweet you could get a cavity. The author focuses on peeling away the layers of self awareness that we all too often build up through life. In the end, Kyle finds his toilet-trained-tyke side and Rand discovers that the gaps in his life can be filled by caring for someone he loves.

    Another great book from Carly! Rand and Kyle are perfect together, even though they started out as friends. They just fit. How they learnt together and became more, the trust that grew between them made the story believable and for me utterly enjoyable. I can totally recommend not only this book but this author. I hope there are more stories from the Untamed ranch. I would love to hear Jace and Jonas's story. Just saying! 😁
