London, 1912

Edward Bennett-Jacobs is leaving England. He’s following his father’s orders to marry the daughter of one of his wealthy American associates, even though the last thing he wants to do is to marry a stranger—a woman. He decides to give himself one last night of happiness, and, ignoring the danger, he brings a man back to his hotel room.

Leo Davis is leaving England. He hopes for a better life, a life that will allow him to help his family flourish. He’s travelling with his best friend, John. John knows a lot about Leo, but he doesn’t know about his secret yearning for men. Leo never intends to tell him and does his best to resist what his body wants, but when he meets Edward the night before their ship is scheduled to leave, he decides to give in one last time. New York will be a new start for him, in more ways than one.

Neither Edward nor Leo expect to see each other again. Then fate places them both on the RMS Titanic for its maiden voyage. Their relationship grows as the Titanic sails, but tragedy awaits.

This book has a happy ending for the two main characters.

Catherine is the creator of several series, most of them paranormal, including the Whitedell Pride Series and the Gillham Pack Series. While she graduated in translation, she decided to go the writer’s way because it was more fun to create her own stories and characters.

She’s been living in Italy for more than twenty years, but she’s a daughter of the North—Belgium to be precise—and she misses it so much that she’s already planning to move back.

She loves pizza—probably too much —her pets, and of course, books. She sneaks some reading time in her schedule every time she has five minutes free from writing, demands from her various pets and son, and lastly, housework.

I am going to start by saying that if you're a fan of historical romance novels, and you like the m/m genre, definitely read this book. I am not a huge fan of historical novels but I do early enjoy other books by this author. Since I've always loved stories about the Titanic, and with the promise of a happy ending on this one I had to read it. ***HISTORICAL DETAILS*** I actually found myself enjoying the historical details. You could tell that she took a lot of time to research that era to the little pieces that she threw in made it so realistic but didn't become the story. ***THE STORY*** The very beginning was a little slow and then the story blossomed and you find yourself immersed in their world. She handles the differences between two very different social classes really well. It was part of the storyline but it did not take over. The love story was (steamy) and you could feel their struggle. Knowing the story of Titanic you know ahead of time whats going to happen to the ship. The anticipation of how she's going to handle the tragedy and still make it happy ending was huge. When I finally got there I was like wow I love this it wasn't kitschy and it wasn't over done it was perfect!

If you were a fan of the movie the Titanic and enjoy reading M/M romance, then this book is right up your alley. I truly enjoyed reading the many differences that settled within the two men's lifestyles. And to see just how different and unusual their lives within opposing classes of society actually were. Still, the welcoming notion of just how strong a bond of love could form between two completely opposite classes, despite the issues between them, was a joy to dig deeper and deeper into within each turning page. Many parts truly were breath-taking. This book was a wonderful read. One that I found to be very hard to put back down after I'd had first picked it up. Highly recommend this book!

It’s been awhile since I’ve read a historical romance, so it took a bit more effort to read this one, though that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve been in a bit of a book slump and I was worried that this books setting might do me in. I treasure books and I can only imagine the effort an author goes through to write a book and a historical one seems to me would take even more effort. I’m happy to say that, all though the first part was a bit slow for me, once I got into the book I did enjoyed it. The style of the characters dialogue made it so that this was in no way a quick read, but kept my interest so I kept the pages flipping. I liked the little details from the time period that made the story realistic as there are aspects to that time that I never would have thought of. While I did tear up a time or two, it was not as emotional as I had worried it might be. Oh, and there was definitely some hotter moments then I am used to seeing from this author, but who doesn’t enjoy a little of loving?

This was a nice short historical romance that had everything I was looking for in a m/m version of Titanic! Characters were genuine and I was so glad it had a happy ending!
