    I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. Megan and Andrew's story had me in tears and I can't get enough of the whole group. I really connected with Megan and I'm in love with Andrew, even though he had very unlikable moments. They're both so stubborn and I love their banter. Once I started reading, I had a hard time putting it down.
    You don't need to have read the first book to read this one but I highly recommend reading them both.

    Andrew and Megans story had me in tears. I love how they both were so stubborn. And the love that the whole group has for each other is beautiful. Friends are the family we choose for ourselves. And that is what this group is. A big family that loves each other through everything.

    This is the second book in the series and is Andrew and Megans story.Kate has done it again she completely draws you into their word ,the characters,their story you’ll become part of it all!Her words will touch your heart and soul as they did mine and theirs is a story that will stay with me for some time to come……
    Megan loves life, she loves her friends and family ,likes to party, she takes life by the balls and lives it to the full.
    Andrew is the object of her desire after a drunken kissing game,the taste of her lips on his he knows hes in trouble but his life is tormented, riddled with guilt and regret, hurt and insecurities, hes living in the past and sees no future so he vows never to let her get beneath his skin, hes cold and angry towards her,insulting and unkind .They trade insults banter and humiliation at every turn neither letting up or giving in.The flicker of desire burns between them but Andrew is always quick to dampen it down.Megan is confused as to why its only her he has a problem with and shes determined to find out why.
    When circumstances force Megan to accept Andrews help their friendship starts to rekindle and piece by piece Megan begins to heal his shattered heart,she sees the man he is beneath the prickly closed off exterior and wants more.Andrew knows shes slowly bringing down the walls hes had up around his life,his heart for so long but can he tell her about his past,can he finally find a way to finally move on and accept the love Megan is offering him or will ghosts and pain from the past keep him forever bound in the lonely world he thinks he deserves?     I loved this book…Andrew just broke my heart,his story is heartbreaking and raw but out of all that comes a man capable of love, deserving of love and happiness if he’d only let himself believe it.Theres lots of sexy times between them that will have you hot under the collar but also gut wrenching raw emotional scenes that will tug at your heart as you finally feel and understand his pain.Kate has as always written a deeply emotional.senusal story of two people that fight against each other but ultimately don’t stand a chance because love wont be denied.
    The secondary characters were fantastic I loved Lucas and Felicity, Jack, Rosa who’s a scream and of course Amelia and Marcus the story is one of heartbreak,regret guilt and love but there is also some funny moments too.The love and friendship they all share for each other is heartwarming .I highly recommend this book it’s a fantastic read cover to cover.I cant wait for Lucas’ story next!

    What can I say; I absolutely ADORED this book! This story has it all for me, and touched me and connected with me in many ways. It was a really enjoyable and romantic story and I simply devoured it from start to finish.

    This is the second book in the Spring Rose series from KL, and can be enjoyed as a complete standalone. I have not read the first book yet, and was able to read this without reading book 1. Although I do desperately need to read book 1 now, as it has simply made me want more!!

    In this book we have the story of Andrew and Megan. And what a superb story it is. Immediately I fell in love with Megan's character. She is sweet, kind, sexy and oh so sassy!!! I loved her independence, her strength and her quirky and individual ways.

    Andrew on the other hand doesn't come across as quite so warm and kind at the start of the book. It takes a while to learn more about him, peel back his layers, and fully get the depth of his character. But I challenge anyone not to have totally fallen in love with 'Mr Dark and Mysterious' by the end. As a reader I just wanted to hug him and protect him. Andrew is haunted by his past, and lives in the present locked away from life, throwing himself into his work, living in darkness and silence. But when Megan comes along, she turns his life upside down!!

    The banter between the two characters at the start of the book was great. Their exchanges of insults and rebuttals, were great and really created that sense of tension and chemistry surrounding the characters. And being honest, there are times when Andrew really is REALLY unlikeable!!! But I got him!

    The story line itself is brilliant. With some real heart breaking and heart warming scenes. Andrew and Megan's story is full of passion, regrets, hope and HEAT. It's the fight to push each other away, and the fight to keep each other close. I had all the feels... I laughed, and even found myself wiping my eyes at a couple of points.

    The writing flows perfectly and I couldn't help but keep truing the pages to see how things would turn out. There is the perfect mix of angst and drama without being over the top. I connected with so much about this book - the characters, the setting, the location and the story. Brilliant!!

    The secondary characters are great! The friendships, support and protectiveness amongst all of the characters is perfect. I fell in love with a couple of them and can't wait to get more from this author and this series! A fantastic book and story, and one I would recommend to all.

    From the minute I started reading this book I could not put it down. Andrew and Megan’s story had me hooked from the start. Their rocky friendship and the desire for each other had me on the edge of my seat willing them to get together as the sexual tension was too much at times.
    Andrew’s past prevents him from going after Megan as he feels it’s a way of protecting her, but with her beauty and sass she constantly throws at him he can no longer resist the temptation.
    The love between these two characters is strong and full of emotion.
    From angst, heart-stopping moments, to those laugh out loud moments and not forgetting the hot steamy scenes, this book has everything. It can be read as a standalone or as part of a series and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
