    This was an interesting world to jump into. I haven’t read book 1 but could follow along easily although I now want to read the rest of the series! So having not read the first, the chemistry was wonderful but I assume we may have learned a bit more about them in the first book, even if they weren’t the MCs, as things are mentioned and then we jump forward. Pretty quick read. Interesting and now I need to know more…

    Really good sapphic romances can be difficult to find. It's even harder to find fantasy sapphic romances. Aerten and Rina have some pretty fantastic chemistry on the page, even moreso than the couple from Forged in Flames. A lot of authors go through a sophomore slump, but this series is getting better. I'm excited for the rest of the series. If I could find ANYTHING to criticize, it's that there weren't more sex scenes due to the length. Would have loved this to be a touch longer, but that just speaks to how good it is!

    Fantastic second book in this series. Rina and Aerten are simply adorable together. Their instant chemistry is beautifully written, you can’t help but root from them right from the start. The Boudica aspect of the plot was great (author is spot on when she talks about it being one of the first things we learn about in school), and the rich mythology and worldbuilding of book 1 (Forged in Flames) continues unabated. Although Value In Visions is a stand-alone romance, I think it does help to read FIF for a true sense of the overarching plot, ie how the Wild Hunt members became the Freed Hunt. I am obsessed with the supporting characters as well, can’t wait to see who is next for a HEA. This series has so many things I love - soft but sexy romance, the English countryside, rich mythology, found family, humour, hints about future books, food! (so much food ☺️). Love it.
