Vampire Armada (The Immortal Knight Chronicles Book 7) Kindle Edition
AD 1568, England. When an immortal assassin attacks Queen Elizabeth I, Richard must follow the trail to the New World to save England from a war it cannot win.
While Richard finds an unlikely ally in the pirate Francis Drake and voyages across the seas to hunt vampires on the Spanish Main, the agents of William de Ferrers work to subvert the English Crown.
Immortals have infiltrated the Spanish Inquisition and the Jesuits and all that stands between them and England are Walsingham's spies and the Order of the White Dagger.
To defeat his enemies, Richard must overcome tropical hurricanes, trek through the pestilential jungles of Panama and resort to pirate raids on the high seas in pursuit of mountains of treasure.
But all is not what it seems in the New World, and in a Europe torn apart by the wars of religion, Richard does not know who to trust.
The forces of evil are gathering.
If Richard cannot stop his enemies in time, all will be lost to the vampire armada.
Vampire Armada is a thrilling novel for readers of action-packed historical fiction and fantasy.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2020Dan Davis' rich depictions of centuries of history throughout the world, from England to the Middle East to Eastern Europe back to England, has thrilled me from the very beginning of this series and continues to do so here! Besides the amazing action, historical depictions, characters and intrigue, there continues to be the (in my opinion) utterly unique vampire universe that Davis has set up. Definitely recommend this to everyone who loves vampires, history or both! Can't wait to continue on with the series :)
- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2019I have enjoyed the immortal knight books immensely. The characters seem to jump off the page and seeing history through the eyes of one man is such a great way to tell stories about some of the best or worst periods of our time . I have always looked forward to the next book in this series and this one did not disappoint at all . Another great read . If you like historical fiction this book and series is for you
- Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2020Great cast of characters, amazing array of historical references. Love the Drake character, and the ship adventures were a nice change of pace. A vampire tale unlike any other I've ever read, I'm in for the long haul. I can continue to read these and hope they go right up through modern times eventually. Another solid tale in the series, will be reading the next one shortly.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019Absolutely, the best book yet of the series. I could not put it down. The weaving of Sir Francis Drake in the story was masterful and believable. The heartfelt relationship between the queen and Richard was ever the tempest on edge and waiting to explode. Was most saddened when I thought Walt May have been finished. I look forward to the next adventure of the White Daggers. Well done sir, well done.

The clothing the weapons the lifestyles are all historically accurate and give you a look into that time period while enjoying the fun of vampires and battles..
I get excited each time I see a new book released

5.0 out of 5 stars HOW TO ENJOY A CARRIAGE RIDE.
Well we're on to book 7 of the series and it gets off to a great start. The first four chapters make for great reading with Richard now in the era of Queen Elizabeth the 1st. Who are the hooded men in black and what are they up to? As ever, Richard has to know and in fact soon finds out bringing him into his first contact with Queen Elizabeth the 1st of England and even closer than even he could ever have imagined!! Oh dear, how naughty of you, lol. I'll say no more. Other than that, as ever a great read from Dan mixed with fact, fiction and a cross over of both as well as vampires. Roll on book 8. Highly Recommend.

Although still enjoyable I’m just wondering if this horse has run it’s race, is about time Richard sorted William for good?

5.0 out of 5 stars A vampire flashman
The premiss may off putting , a vampire Cain and Abel duelling over the centuries but the historic background is 100% accurate .I especially recommend Vampire Impaler which gives great detail and background to an especially confusing period of history ."Armada " is equally interesting historically .This is a series with great potential and all books are enjoyable too .Maybe footnotes ? , although Google always to hand , and I used it a lot reading these books .
