Vampire Assassin (Immortal Knight Short Stories Book 2) Kindle Edition
AD 1513, France. The army of King Henry VIII is besieging the town of Thérouanne in northern France. It is the young Henry's first war.
Yet an immortal assassin stalks the king and only the Order of the White Dagger can stop him.
But at what cost?
Richard of Ashbury returns in the new short story Vampire Assassin.
Please note: the Immortal Knight Chronicles Short Stories are to be read in conjunction with the main series, which starts with the novel Vampire Crusader.
Richard of Ashbury has performed countless heroic deeds down the centuries and fought in hundreds of battles that will not feature in the main novel series. But they are too good to miss. That is why some of these episodes will be told in these short stories.
So join Richard and his companions now for their next thrilling adventure.
Vampire Assassin takes place between Book 6 Vampire Impaler and Book 7 Vampire Armada of the Immortal Knight Chronicles.
The Immortal Knight Chronicles:
1. Vampire Crusader: Richard the Lionheart and the Third Crusade
2. Vampire Outlaw: King John and the Invasion of England
3. Vampire Khan: Hulegu Khan and the Mongol Invasions
4. Vampire Knight: King Edward III and the Hundred Years War
5. Vampire Heretic: Gilles de Rais and the Siege of Orléans
6. Vampire Impaler: Vlad Dracula and the Ottoman Invasions

About the author

I write action-packed sci-fi and historical fantasy. I want to immerse readers in another time and place and for my stories to be gripping adventures. You should love my complex heroes and hate the twisted bad guys.
If you like the sound of that then check out; GODS OF BRONZE (my new historical fantasy series), THE IMMORTAL KNIGHT CHRONICLES (bestselling historical fantasy) and the GALACTIC ARENA series (smart military scifi).
Thanks for taking an interest in my stories. Follow me here on Amazon to keep up to date with releases.

Interesting take about a Knight who becomes immortal and spend the series looking for his evil brother who is also a vampire.

5.0 out of 5 stars A GREAT SHORT STORY.
Yes it really is a great little story, bridging the gap between two of Dans Vampire series of books. If you've been a follower of them, then this little tale will be right up your street.
All that said, might I make a suggestion to you Dan. We hear a lot about Richard and his friends in the books, but very little about his evil brother William, just the odd mention, although we know he's always around some where.
It would be nice to hear things from his point of view once in a while, just to give a more balanced point of view of the whole story.
A short written book, much like this one in fact, would be a good place to start explaining things from his point of view and for what reason..
Other than that, a excellent little read.
