My favorite of the series.
This book. WOW. I knew from the very beginning I was going to be taken on an angsty whirlwind ride. And OMG I WAS. These twins. They broke me. I fell so hard. They were so POSSESSIVE. So PROTECTIVE. Right from the get go. Thats is EXACTLY what I crave. I am so jealous of Emily. Ezra claiming Emily right in the beginning GOT MY BODY WOKE UP. I also love how fierce and protective Emily was over Ezra. Has me thinking SHE was the essence of Violence also. I love that by book 3, a few of the different nights in the books have come full circle and have been told by different characters in each book frkm different perspectives. Ezra using that famous line "You were going the wrong way" so many times UGHHH PERFECTION. That promise Ezra made her make. It make my heart melt and also, once again, like the entire book, BROKE ME. Because I knew she couldnt keep it. Damon. My poor Damon. He was so sweet. Anyways, the stuff with the guys working with Ivy on Gabe made me laugh so hard. I had NO idea their involvement and it was PERFECT. This author inserted all these delicate details expertly!! Again, THIS BOOK BROKE ME. When Ezra said "Please just let me breathe" I wanted to just die. And that wasnt even the worst part of the book. And then when he told the part about the handprint, I cried. Because I knew who he was trying to get to. The love between Emily & Ezra was SO INTENSE. More intense than any characters that I have ever seen this author write before. The chemistry & bond was just crazy. I never wanted it to stop or end. At 74% my heart was RACING. Even though I got a glimpse into this in Fraud it was SO heavy in Violence. I couldn't take it. THE ANGST WAS TOO MUCH!!!! "I love you..." "I’m sorry..." "I don’t deserve you..." "Thank you…" "You’re mine." That part warmed my soul....then came the head to head with Damon. And while it needed to happen, he finally said some things that I was worried he would say and I lost it. Excuse me while I bawl my eyes out. I need Damon to find his girl ASAP. Because my heart cannot take it. Again, I will say it again and again..THIS BOOK BROKE MEEEEE. I am just.....so many things happened. This author is a 5 stat author. Excellent 5 star story. My FAVORITE of the series. I am in awe. I worship this author. Wow. I cannot WAIT for Shane & his girl....

    Author Lily White continues to amaze me! Violence is the third book in the Antihero Inferno series and it just keeps getting better. Each book so far is tied together with a continuing story arc and yet each is so original and different, focusing on different characters while furthering the theme and plot line. With Violence, Author Lily White delivers a story that is emotional, angsty and an intense rollercoaster ride.

    I absolutely love Ezra and Damon. They intrigued me from book 1 and I could not wait to hear their story with Emily. Even though this is Ezra’s book, author Lily White developed the relationship between the twin brothers and you can feel their bond and their turmoil. Add Emily to the mix and what started as fun turns to heartache.

    Author Lily White’s writing drew me in and held me captive. I was so invested in Ezra and Emily but in Damon too. I just wanted them to all be happy. There were so many twists and misunderstandings that I just didn’t know what to expect. And if you read Lily White, you can empathize because absolutely ANYTHING can happen!! I just read and prayed!

    The push/ pull between the characters was insane. The attraction and connection was off the charts. It was also hot AF.

    I also love how author Lily White connects each book to the series story arc and how integral all the guys are to this storyline. The continuity is so well designed, as is the set up for the next piece of the puzzle.

    Ezra’s story stole my heart. I hurt for him and his brother. Ezra is so full of emotion, and yet, so completely in control, or so it seems. I just love him.

    Violence is a dark tale filled with unexpected twists, angst, heartbreak and steam. It is a brilliant addition to the series and I highly recommend it, along with this series. Author Lily White gives us phenomenal story!! Cannot wait for what comes next!!

    These Antihero Inferno books are impossible to put down! I love how all the characters are intertwined with each other, and that you learn each backstory for each person as it tied into to the first story. They can be read as stand alones if you want. But believe me when I say, reading one will make you want to read them all!

    This story continues with Emily, Ezra, and Damon's love triangle. One girl caught between two guys. Two brothers to be more precise. Two TWIN brothers to be exact. Her heart belongs to Ezra, and has since one particular night in highschool. But she loves his brother Damon, and doesn't want to see him hurt by choosing to be with his brother. Not with all the pain he's suffered already, and continues to go through from the hands of his father William. So she has to let them both go. But that's easier said than done.

    Ezra has so much anger in him, and he selfishly uses Emily as his outlet to hurt her, reasoning she deserves everything he does to her. And through it all they both still gravitate towards each other. Even though Emily's heart is crushed little by little with each cruel thing Ezra does to her.

    Damon on the other hand has been nothing but loving towards her through it all. But you can't help who you fall in love with, and Ezra will always be the one her heart beats for. Even though he's been so cruel and hateful towards her. Which only makes Damon resent Ezra for the way he's been treating Emily this whole time, and has now caused a lot of animosity between them that can be seen by everyone around them.

    But will Ezra finally take things too far, and hurt his brother and Emily in the process, and lose them both? Or can he find a way to fix the mess he's made and repair the damage he's done?

    I’ve never fallen so deeply in love with a story quite like I did with this one. I stayed up until I couldn’t keep my eyes open and then picked it up every chance I got until I was finished. I am so in love with this world and these characters. Lily White has done it again!

    Oh, Emily, I love you. I’m slightly partial because that’s my name but also because this woman is so fierce and has so much love to give and never wants to hurt anyone. I truly felt the pain and the love in this story. Now I know she always loved Ezra more but I was so hoping for her to be with both but I’ll be okay.

    Ezra has been through so much. I knew from the very first book that his story would wreck me and sure enough, it did. I hated every moment he was rude to Emily but I know he was hurting and I know he truly loved her. I just love Ezra.

    I’m so ready to see what’s in store for Shane but also I’m so ready for Damon’s book and Mason’s book. I am just on the edge of my seat needing to know how all of this is going to play out. I highly recommend this series. I’m on to Heresy.

    Violence (Ezra) may seem like the typical all bark and no bite, well don’t make this simple mistake! He’s so much the bite he promises with his amber soulful eyes and his bite will never be enough.
    Emily is a Queen through and through and I have so much love for her too. And Damon! Ah he just broke my heart and I can’t wait for him to find the perfect woman to make him whole again.
