The Violet Collection is the first in the series of books from the Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast.

Although the podcast and, therefore, the books weren't originally intended for young kids (I don't shy away from the afterlife, for instance), I've had parents of young children tell me their kids have loved them. So... adult discretion is advised in some cases.

The stories in this collection, in true fairy tale style, explore what it is to be human, to handle the problems of life, to be victorious, to face challenges, and to be a whole person on planet Earth.

The tales range from origin stories that start at the dawn of time to relationship and coming-of-age tales.

Tina Konstant was born in Zimbabwe, raised in South Africa, and currently lives in Scotland with her husband and Jack, her impossibly cute dog!

She's the host and chief storyteller on the Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast, which includes the Waffle-Free Storytelling books.

Other publications include her four-books-in-one collection of short stories and flash fiction about life from start to finish.

Tina's nonfiction focuses primarily on speed reading and managing information overload, with additional titles on copywriting and managing change.

Tina is the author of The Port Harker Series, writing as Obediah Keane.
