    Let me start off by saying that I write and typically read sweet romance novels, with few exceptions. CJ Fallowfield's books are among those exceptions. I first came across Ms. Fallowfield's erotic novella series when I won the third book, Filthy for the Night. So, of course, I had to buy the first two novellas in the For the Night series. I was unsure of how I'd feel about a series starring a male gigolo, but the author managed to make me not only like him, but love him! Because she tells the story in both female and male POVs, the reader is able to understand his side of things.

    This particular installment was a challenge for Logan, our hero, for reasons I don't want to reveal. You'll just have to read it yourself to find out! All I can say is that he's never had a client quite like Summer, and because of that, it makes for an interesting story that makes you say, "Wow."

    Ms. Fallowfield is a talented writer, and her descriptions of intimate moments are especially appreciated. She also provides humor in her stories, which lightens the mood a bit.

    I'll be reading the rest of this series for sure, and I've also purchased her other series just because I enjoy her writing. Her books are the ultimate "sit down with a glass of wine and forget everything" types of reads. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes a good juicy, sexy story.

    I didn’t think things could get any hotter than the first volume in this series, Stranger For the Night, but wow did Logan Steele up his game! In the last book, we are introduced, albeit briefly, to Logan’s next client, a young up and coming actress named Summer Beresford. She has just been cast in a role in a movie as a young submissive. She has requested Logan’s services for the night requesting that he “makes love to her like it is her first time”. What Logan doesn’t know is, it really is Summer’s first time.

    If it weren’t bad enough that Logan had been taken with Summer before they even met, to know that she was a virgin on top of it all only fueled the passion he felt for her. Needless to say, by the end of the night, Summer was no longer a virgin and the two each felt feelings that neither of them were prepared to deal with. Would Logan be willing to give it all up to be with the only woman whom has ever made him feel? Can Summer get over the feeling of loss knowing that she was only a client of his and she could have been just anyone to him?

    It will be interesting to see how Logan evolves over the course of the remaining books, I get the feeling we may not have seen the last of Summer, or at least I hope not!

    While this is the second book in the series it can be read as a standalone. I highly suggest reading the first one though as it sets up the beginning of the “relationship” between Logan and Summer, and the difference in how Logan handles his other clients. Each client has different fantasies and Logan must prepare for them, however kinky or different they might be.

    I was already a fan of Ms. Fallowfield’s after reading the first book in the Austin series, but this series has only confirmed her brilliance as a writer. The sex scenes are hot, the characters are well developed, and unlike a lot of erotica, there is an actual plot, not just a one hundred-page sexfest. This is easily a short, steamy, five star read.

    The next book, Filthy For the Night, scheduled for release in December, sounds like it is going to be AMAZING. Logan is a master of dirty talk and seduction and throw some filthy requests in there and the story is going to be downright molten.

    Book two in the "For The Night" series and Logan's next encounter is the beautiful but innocent Summer.

    This book was another hot and sexy and enjoyable story but one which only took me an hour to read. That said, it was a fun read and with its overall simplicity you get a reprieve from all those books out there that are full of angst, drama and trauma.

    After spending more time with Logan, I'm enjoying him even more, especially after seeing his softer side with Summer, although it was nice to see him get his growl on again with her towards the end of the story.

    Now, do I continue reading this series? Do we get to know more about Logan? And, more importantly, does a story develop between him and Summer or is the most we can hope for more hot and steamy scenes with his latest customers? Help!!! What do I do, read on or stop?

    Well I was right this was better than the first I knew these books were going to be good. In a way this was exceptional different in so many ways, sensuous yet hot the main element of this book I felt was Logan showing a side of himself he didn't know existed. He certainly has a caring streak. Really well written and such a brilliant storyline. This was a gifted ARC for an honest review. Looking forward to Logans next night out in December.
