Welcome to Blissville (Volume 1) (The Welcome to Blissville Collection) Kindle Edition
Welcome to Blissville!
My visit to Blissville was only supposed to last through four books. In the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries, I introduced a hairstylist too fabulous for his own good and a police detective who wasn’t quite sure what to do with him. It was loathing at first sight. Sparks ignited. Fur flew. When the dust settled, the most beautiful love story developed. They say that people come into our lives right when we need them most, and I know this is also true with book characters.
Josh Roman and Gabriel Wyatt gave me a reason to get out of bed while battling cancer. They became my best friends when I had to lock down my emotions to be strong for those around me. When I reached the end of the fourth book, I just wasn’t ready to let them go. I wanted to know more about the people they loved, so the Road to Blissville series was born. And because the two series overlap in places, it created some confusion for new readers.
The Welcome to Blissville collection combines both the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries and Road to Blissville series in a two-volume set. The books are placed in proper reading order, and each volume has a brand-new Josh and Gabe bonus scene.
I hope you enjoy your trip to Blissville as much I did.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2022I’m glad the two series are finally together, and in order of publication (I think?). Very entertaining, and I want Josh and Gabe to be my best friends, along with the rest of the gang! I have a pressing question though, and it is the other reason I’m writing this review. There doesn’t seem to be any way to actually email the author to get my question answered, and the only social media platform I use is Instagram, so if I can’t get an answer this way, I’ll have to try and DM on IG. In Emory and Jon’s book, Someone to Call My Own, Jon’s two best friends, Beau and Corbin, had little snippets of intriguing stories that I really was hoping to follow to the end. But there was no end, and now I’m left hanging. Are there, or will there, be books for each of them? Perhaps in a different series? I hope so, because they both have such promising beginnings.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2024I love a box set! This is a collection of stories about side characters from the Curl Up and Dye suspense series.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2023How do you sum up this epic collection in a way that celebrates its rich and wonderful, spice and vinegar, sweetness and sourpuss elements? Binge Worthy. Dive in and may you curl up with tears and die laughing your keester off.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2025I have now read most of this authors books- Redemption Ridge series, Sawyer and Royce, Sinister in Savannah, Single in Savannah, and I can’t put them down. She has created such detailed and spanning universes for every character and their loved ones. Beautiful love stories, very sexy connections, characters you want to root for, snark and laughter, I will read anything this author writes. Are there moments that are overly gushy, or too perfect for reality, or slightly out there? Sure. Will it prevent me from wanting to read whatever comes next? Absolutely not. Jumping into Welcome to Blissville Volume 2 and can’t wait. Really hoping for Beau and Corbin’s stories from Someone to Call My Own!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2021I truly love these series! The men, the emotions, the love, and yes they are steamy. This book is a compilation of several books and several couples with the same people in each one which I love because you get to follow along with them all. I read all the stories individually and they were so good I wanted a re-read!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2021I adore this series so much and to have it collected into two volumes is absolutely wonderful. Although each book has its own strengths and weaknesses, when you read them all together, this series is an easy five stars. The characters are the true stars of these books, and watching each one get their own happy ending is lovely.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2021Love this series of books! Snarky, funny and lovable! On to Blissville volume 2! Would recommend for a romance of two men that grows to a large extended family.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2022Thank you, MS Walker for another great series. I loved Josh, Gabe and all their friends. Will start Volume 2 as soon as I finish this review. Love....love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome
I've read these books individually before but as I fancied a re-read, I thought I'd finally read Welcome to Blissville. It's just as brilliant, snarky, hot and hilarious as I remembered and it made me realise how much I missed the Blissville crew. So glad I re-read it.

This features all the curl up and dye novels and the sister series Blissville, all in order which really helps. Recommended.
