- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2022As always a very helpful and informative books. I have study other author books teaching subjects pertaining to writing. By far this writer's guide series is one of the ones I keep a reference for myself. Coming back to help me as a beginner.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2023While not as good as strategic series, this book was helpful and informative. Its a shorter read, and lots of cool assignments. I also learned about novellas here and how use ful they can be.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2022Two authors act as two teachers to present the ins and outs of writing a series.
I especially liked the mistakes-to-avoid sections to head off any troubles. Also , the information on balanced-structure series was brand new to me and extremely helpful if you are trying a series for the first time or if you've had trouble selling a series that needs to be read in order.
Hall and Rossi keep addressing specific genres, so it doesn't matter what genre you write; this book is for you.
I appreciated the advice for marketing a series, too. And tips on plotting a whole series (vs plotting one novel at a time).
Super helpful, highly recommended.
