Winning Hollywood's Goodest Girl: A Surprise Pregnancy Romantic Comedy (The Hollywood Collection) Paperback – June 10, 2020
Purchase options and add-ons
First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes a baby in the baby carriage.
That’s how her brother used to sing it when we were kids—a simple ploy to get under my skin and make me stick my fist in his face—but man oh man, did he get the order wrong.
One night of “kissing” in New York catapulted us straight to the pregnancy portion of the song—surprise!—and now I have to figure out how to carry out the whole melody in reverse.
A baby on the way first.
Then love and marriage?
It’s complicated on its best day.
But our situation is far more problematic than just a simple twist of nursery rhyme lyrics. Before our night together, Raquel Weaver was the best-known good girl in Hollywood—a twenty-nine-year-old innocent beauty whom the world adored and watched like a hawk.
Obviously, the consequences of that kind of reputation don’t just go away. Add in pregnancy hormones, the media, a fake fiancé, and a selfish manager, and you have the short list of my problems.
As a thirty-four-year-old, successful CFO of a multibillion-dollar media conglomerate, I thought I would be able to handle anything show business could throw my way, but I’m starting to think I might be in over my head.
Good thing I’m all in.
Winning Hollywood’s goodest girl is going to take everything I’ve got.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2020Wow.
I think Harrison Hughes has catapulted himself into my favorite Max Monroe Hero. Sorry Kline, but not really.
With a unique storytelling spin, Max Monroe gave us a romantic story with flashbacks to the night that changed their lives forever. I found this to be an effective way to tell their story... and it made me fall more in love with both Rocky and Harrison.
Harrison is a genuinely kind, compassionate and honestly good man. And with patience of a saint. He discovered he was going to be a father in the most unusual way, but never once faltered in stepping up like the remarkable man he is.
Watching Raquel's transformation from meek Hollywood starlet to a confident heroine throughout the story with Harrison's support was also a major highlight to this reader.
The scenes with Harrison's billionaire buddies -- and their wives -- have got to be some of the funniest in this book. Especially around halfway through the book. I literally laughed so hard and so loud, I may have scared my cats. Ha!
This book is for sure going in my top favorite reads for the year. I loved it and you will too, go ahead and one click!

I had a hunderd different fake headlines running through my head. Apparently, fake gossip magazines is my thing. Winning Hollywood's Goodest Girl is pure Max Monroe. The laughs, the crazy train, and the friends you are so jealous that you aren't a piece of their lives make this novel another must read from the hilarious dynamic duo.
Sexy and sweet with a heaping side of crazy, [(side eyes Thatch) (okay, and Cassie if I'm honest!)], Winning Hollywood's Goodest Girl is flirty fun with a side of "oh baby!"
Max Monroe will have newbies scrambling for more and fans giggling at the obscene and entertaining world that is their billionaires. I keep waiting for my billionaire with ridiculously over the top friends to karate chop me and kidnap me because that's a strong possibility with Max Monroe involved. You never know what your going to get...
Edited for a reality check:
(LOL. Is it an edit if I'm still typing it any haven't actually edited anything?!)
Things to know about Max Monroe:
-Despite having a dude name, they are two chicks. (Insert inappropriate sandwich action joke here)
- Happily ever after is bound to be a reality once you get past the yucky.
-Your abs will let you know they exist regardless of how far below the surface they are.
-Loving their characters results in a needy binge to "see" them again.

Oh and pantyliners, when you laugh too hard after having a baby...just saying.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2020That was unexpected in the best possible way, but totally expected at the same time. After reading about Harrison, who Cap always referred to as "Whore-i-son" and seeing how snarky and cavalier he was towards love in prior novels, I just assumed he'd be another snarky jerk that Max Monroe would somehow redeem in our eyes. But honestly, Harrison is ADORABLE, likeable and totally loveable, and Cap had him pegged all wrong!
It's a standalone romance, but it does bridge the gap between the Billionaire series and the Hollywood Series since we have the sister of the main character from one, and the friend of the characters from the other. Raquel and Harrison were childhood friends that lost touch, but when they run into each other years later, fate takes over!
Raquel, one of Hollywood's biggest starlets, is a 30-year-old virgin. After a rainy run-in with Harrison, a billionaire sweetheart in NY city, the two have a steam one-night stand, and pretty soon Raquel's baby bump can't be ignored. And Harrison doesn't wait to ignore it! He wants the love, the mess and the joy of their relationship.
What an absolute treat this book is. I'm telling you, I'm really mad at Cap for leading us down the wrong path and making us think that Harrison is anything other that the swoony sweetheart that he is.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2020I highly recommend this book! Max Monroe, what can I say! I love this book! Honestly, Kline Brooks was my favorite but once I got into this book, Harrison Hughes quickly became my top fav of the Billionaire men folk! I didn't ever think that Kline would be dethroned but swoony (is swoony even a word?) Harrison Huges did it in true Billionaire fashion with humor, screwups, and help from friends to make things right.
This book is the second of the Hollywood series. This book is about Raquel a virgin, which we all know is a novelty in Hollywood and her childhood friend Harrison. They reconnect after 20 plus year by chance after each having one hell of a day. This sets off a chain of events that will forever change their lives. Max Monroe, you two have the knack of writing the best Rom Coms! I always enjoy the characters and their stories. Thank you for always delivering the type of stories and characters we can all enjoy and fall in love with. P.S. Don't tell Kline but I think Harrison just dethroned him as the swooniest of the Billionaires!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and swoony
This was such a sweet story! This is book 2 in the Hollywood series and follows Raquel (Luca’s sister, and nearly 30 year old virgin), but it crosses over with the newest Billionaire books with Harrison (and many cameos from our other fave Billionaires too!). Raquel and Harrison are childhood friends who reconnect, but a one night stand results in a pregnancy. Both characters are trying to do the right thing, and Harrison is especially swoony (dare I say, move over Kline Brooks?! Or at least share the swoony title!). Such a feel good story but still full of steam! This is another fun, fantastic story from Max Monroe!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great Max Monroe read
Well written with interesting plotline. Laugh out loud hilarious especially with the crazy banter and antics of Cap, Thatcher and the gang. Loved that this book brought together the New York Thatcher crew and Luca and Billie from Hollywood. Rocky was a down to earth sassy star and Harrison, previously the playboy character shows us what a solid, loving guy he can be. Definitely swoon worthy.
Excellent read. Don’t miss it. Make sure you read Hollywood’s Baddest Boy first not to mention Kline, Thatcher, Cap and all the gang’s books first too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it
Now I had a bit of a roller coaster with Raquel. She would drive me mad enough to want to shake her, then I loved that she grew a pair and stood up for herself at points as well.
I loved the storyline. Bits of it really frustrated me, but if it didn't, it wouldn't have worked so well.
I love all the characters coming back together, I just want to read their individual stories all over again.
I would recommend this and the rest of max monroe books. Really good reads

4.0 out of 5 stars Book club reunion
Started slowly then built its way up. Great catchup with the gang and their gals. For billionaires they’ve a way with them. Loved Harrison immediately but took time with Rocky and eventually got there. Great writing and superb dialogue with the guys.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hollywood goodest girl not so good anymore
I have been waiting for this book as soon as I finished luca's book and let me tell you all the wait is so worth it. We also get to see billionaire's boys which is a bonus. Harrison, you whorison, you stole my heart .
