    I knew when I read Before Us.. There Was Him, that Amber’s book was going to shred my heart. Throughout the story I had chills and kept wondering when her demise would be.
    *Spoiler

    I didn’t like Noah from the beginning.
    After, reading Lucas POV I knew Noah was her end.
    Then, reading the Epilogue with the headlines of Noah marrying and have a child with that other women again, shredded my heart.
    How dare he. I sat on my couch and cried. I cried for the pain Amber went through and the feelings and underlining that was implied.
    She didn’t deserve it.
    Anyway. Thank you, Lou Stock for shining a light on Amber’s story. I hope there’s another book that comes out maybe about the secrets that Noah held coming to surface and getting justice for Amber.

    "Where is Amber" is out of my normal reading realm for several reasons: one, I've never read a novella before, and two, it's more graphic than I've read before. I like the novella format as it allows the writer to take the reader on a breakneck speed journey, and Lou Stock uses it to its full potential, pulling us Pell Mell in what seems like seconds to its shocking conclusion. I don't know when I've witnessed a story on the page or the silver screen pull me in so completely, and impact me so deeply. Like the heroine, I never saw the end coming. Well crafted and captivating - oddly, totally believable.

    4.5 stars. Even though I already know how this ends doesn’t make it any less heartbreaking and gut wrenching. Yet I was still surprised by the turn of events and how it all unfolded, that Amber took a risk on love and paid for it with her soul. The lead up and anticipation to that point makes any reader want to dive in and interfere, desperate for a different outcome, knowing that Amber’s inner voice also pleaded for the same thing.

    Where is Amber Is a companion novella to A Before Us… There was Him story. Amber went missing in the previous book Before Us… There Was Him book.

    This is Amber Randall and Noah Jennings story. There is a huge twist in this story. I mean huge! I stayed up late reading and I still woke up feeling torn after reading this book.

    I am not sure if this book is just brilliant, a work of art with a WTF ending??? I wasn’t ready for the ending.

    I certainly was glued to this book. I just shouldn’t have started reading this book so late!

    Please tell me that there is going to be another book in this series, Lou Stock!!! I am going to go with that, there will be at least one book, for my rating of this book. I wish I could tell more but then I would probably be giving away the plot and I can’t do that. Lou Stock I need more, please!

    I LOVED that this story was about Amber and what happened. I didn’t expect this ending and it was like a punch in the gut. It makes me sad that her friends will never know the full story and so angry at Noah for how he handled everything. This book has my emotions all over the place and it will stick with me for a while.

    I've read all of Lou Stock's books and this is one of my favorites. Knowing how the book ends didn't make the book any less interesting, it made it more interesting because you get the back story. I found myself talking to Amber, telling her to go with her gut feeling, " No, do t go there." or " Yes! Trust that feeling!" I've read this twice and still cry. This book shows a different side of Lou Stock's beautiful imagination! I hope she writes more stories like this!

    I had so many questions about what happened to Amber after I finished Before Us There Was Him. I know obviously it wasn't good. Ugh! My heart. This book devastated me. I've been a tearful mess for days. I love that Lou's writing made me feel that way. I love how her stories never fail to create a deep connection between me and the character. I'll carry Amber in my heart forever.
