I never really thought that a morning ritual could be so helpful throughout the rest of my day. Wake Up Call is a great insight into the "Why" and the "How" to having a great morning and day through a morning ritual. I really like the action steps at the end of each chapter. Meurisse wrote a clear and concise book on morning rituals. His simple reflection questions were really helpful in getting me motivated to design one for myself, and starting to implement it, adapt it when need be. For the right reasons he stresses that the first design should be not too complicated, nor unpleasant. To the contrary, if the morning looks more grim than everything I do in the late evening, how can I possibly start enjoying getting up early and do what I've planned to do? These and other insights are simple and effective. The book has some slight language errors, but though they distracted me a bit, did not make me think of any less than 5 stars. I think those errors are a display of the powerful rush and enthousiasm that Meurisse conveys on the very pages of his book. So, if you, like I, feel that starting your days in the best way possible may change your life for the better, I think it's time to apply the ideas laid out in this book.

    I am one who is good at waking up early, but at times the morning is directionless. Using the ideas from this book, I can see how creating a morning routine will greatly help me become even more productive. A must read!

    If you ever thought of getting a morning routine going then this is a great book to help you start. It not only directs you to a morning routine that is tailored to your situation but also details the obstacles that can get in your way. I felt that there were a couple of sections near the end that deviated from the main morning routine message, but overall, I got a lot out of it and am determined to revise and actually commit to a morning routine for the new year. Recommended for energetic goal setters right through to those who repeated press the snooze button.

    This book is about the mental game, and how setting up a morning ritual can help you accomplish more in your life, because your morning ritual will have you taking specific actions that will move your life in the direction you want it to go.

    The book addresses the subject at a high level. The author uses quotes from other people to support what he’s saying. Because of that, you know whose work he’s read and the advice he values.

    If you have read one or more books by the people he quotes, then this book is not going to tell you anything new or different.

    If you’re looking for an introduction to the subject, this book will give you that.

    It’s a short book though there is a workbook and additional bonus videos.

    The author is very sincere in his desire to help people achieve the same kind of success as he has been able to do using the methods he describes.

    I recently started doing some of the morning rituals and this book simplified them and made it easier to follow along with a different perspective.

    The book may be short but that’s because it’s straight to the point on what you need to do and hold yourself accountable.

    Another masterpiece by Thibaut Meurisse. I am far from being a morning person, but this book has inspired me to establish a "Morning Routine" for whenever it is my morning begins. My new routine hones my focus for the day, keeps me living in the present, and motivates and propels me through my afternoons and evenings. Heck, it may even eventually motivate me to get up earlier. As a photographer, I miss all the incredible sunrises I otherwise could be capturing. Thanks, Thibaut, for another great book!

    A short but powerful book on setting a morning routine - covering the whys as well as the how’s. The author even offers to be your accountability partner and provides his personal email. A good read and one that can get your day kicked off right - if you just follow the steps.

    I'm new in the personal development world and I just wanted a straight-to-the-point book that could really help me keeping a morning yoga routine, and this book really did the job wonderfully. If efficiency was my main criteria when buying something on the subject, this is actually the fact that you can almost feel in every sentence the positive energy of the author that really got me into it. I'm still on the way to really being able to say "I practice yoga everyday", but this book is definitely the main reason I'm so close to it now.

    Erfüllt absolut seinen Zweck.
    Vieles was erwähnt wird hat man bestimmt schon mal irgendwo anders gelesen / gehört. Allerdings motiviert das Buch total die guten Vorsätze endlich umzusetzen. Das Englisch ist sehr leicht verständlich.
    Und jetzt zum besten Teil: Bei Rückfragen kann man jederzeit mit dem Autor in Kontakt treten, welcher sich die Zeit nimmt ausführlich auf die Fragen einzugehen.

    I bought this book with the intention of establishing an early morning routine and I already had one of the author's other titles so I just sort of stumbled across this book and I am so glad that I did! It is a light, easy, quick read that is written in an informal style which I found completely motivating and easy to follow. The author explains where he tripped up along the way to establishing his own personal ideal morning routine. I have only read this book on the subject and as a result of the quick read, I have implemented my own morning routine under the headings of "mind, body and spirit" as in the book....and I am thoroughly enjoying my mornimgs as well as the remainder of my day. I feel like the early bird that got all of the worms :) Thanks to the author!
