    Rather than try to review this book, I'll just put a few excerpts here -- ones that spoke to me -- and you can make up your own mind.

    All I ask is that you be discriminating about your religious beliefs and accept only those that take you to love....If your religious beliefs are causing you to be judgmental and unloving to anyone at all, then you need to question those beliefs.

    Only you can free yourself from the prison of your ego and its mistaken beliefs.

    Here is how it (spiritual progress) looks: It looks like being in the flow; being at ease with life, with others, and with yourself; being grateful and content with the way things are; being kind and accepting of others; being fulfilled by doing what you are moved to do; finding joy in little things and in just being alive; and being your best self. This is sainthood, this is enlightenment, and this is everyone's destiny.

    Happiness doesn’t come from getting your ego’s desires met, but on connecting with the divine self’s love, peace, and joy.

    The truth is, all your judgments do is make you and others unhappy.

    Every time you express curiosity, strength, courage, wisdom, love, kindness, playfulness, compassion, goodness, and light-heartedness, that is your real self—your divine self—peeking out from behind the ego.

    Christianity has little to say about achieving a higher state of consciousness, except acknowledging that a few saints have done so, but without much of an explanation about how this was achieved.

    You thought you were unhappy because of the way things are, but instead, you see that your unhappiness was caused by your thoughts about the way things are.

    If any of these spoke to you, then read this book. I also strongly recommend Awakening Love: How to Love Your Neighbor as Yourself. This was the first of Gina's books that I read, and it changed the course of my life.

    I have read every book that Gina has channeled from Jesus. Each one is a gem and from many different perspectives it always comes down to love being the way for our enlightenment, happiness and survival.

    This book is unique in that Jesus talks about his life as it was depicted in the bible, and in Christianity, pointing out the truth and false beliefs of both. He also talks about our world in its current state in relationship to climate change, overpopulation, unequal distribution of wealth, and more. His discussion of politics was especially refreshing. He says, "I don't claim to be able to solve these problems for you, but there are solutions, since your problems essentially stem from humanity's state of consciousness."
    "Success in solving your problems comes down to choosing love over the self-interest of individuals and nation states. This is why raising people's state of consciousness is the answer to transforming your world. Love is the answer."

    In this and other books by Jesus and Gina, many practical recommendations are given as to how we can make this transformation. It doesn't mean it is easy for us to let go of the beliefs that are not serving us...which are basically all of them, but at the end of the book Jesus reminds us how "deeply" we are loved and that we are never alone, and there is nothing to fear. He says, "Relax, be at peace now, and know your greatness, your divinity, as we do."

    This book is a gift and a blessing to each and everyone of us. Thank you Jesus and thank you Gina!

    I have read all of the books Gina Lake has written on behalf of Jesus the Christ. and while I am not one who struggles for words, I have to say that each and every one of these books are truly beyond description in what they offer. When Jesus speaks on behalf of his mission here on earth, what he came to teach and what was true then, and is still true now, delves into additions to his teachings as well as fabrications, as well as the reasons behind each, one simply knows in the depths of their being that these words are true. This has been my experience. I have found after reading each of Gina Lakes books that I sink into a place of peace and rest and know always, that despite all appearances that would indicate the contrary, that all is truly well. We are simply waking up to what we believed was real into what is actually real. For me, it's like waking up from a nightmare and realizing I was never in any real danger and that we are all actually safe. If your heart, mind and soul desire peace, understanding, and whatever else you may need to see things as they truly are, then with all my heart, intelligence, and love, I would say, Read This Book, and Every other book that Jesus has transmitted to this author and you will fine the end of searching, seeking, confusion, despair, hopelessness, etc. What opens up is understanding, compassion, love, laugher and unbelievable gratitude for everything that we believe has ever happened, as we can then see that all in fact, is Grace. Thank you.

    This was probably the fifth or sixth book by Gina I've read, and have really enjoyed all of them. That said, I found it to be a stretch that Jesus told her, and thus all of us, that we're influenced by our astrological zodiac sign and the stars we were born under. My takeaway is that there are way more things in our life that we don't have control over than those we do, and I found comfort in Jesus's take on most religions, which coincides with mine. It's not that they're malicious (at least, most of them), but that they miss the mark. I also appreciated her sharing how she channels Jesus and her history with it. I'm a huge fan of the Conversations With God series by Neale Donald Walsch. I've been able to tap into what I believe to be my Higher Consciousness, and have had that Communion as well, thanks to the CWG series, so I definitely believe in the gift, and I believe Gina shares in it, too.

    So, i overall still liked it, and i look forward to future reads by her as well.

    Gina channels Jesus in this and a series of other accessible and loving messages to clarify his role and teachings them and now. I am glad that I first found A Course in Miracles, channelled through the late Helen Schucman and published in 1979, because that is more abstract and also a practical workbook. Gina's channelling is a gentler introduction to spiritual truth and of value to Christians and non-Christians alike. It has occurred to me before now that Jesus couldn't have been a Christian and, as he explains in this book, he sought only to share his insight that love is the path, not to found a religion. How important that message seems now in a world characterised by conflict, chaos, and catastrophe.

    We can all help by following the guidance here and on Gina's other channelled book and/or ACIM as mentioned above
