    This entire series had me wanting to read more. I enjoyed each individual story and character. Even the sibling rivalry between the half brothers was interesting, and so on point. The family bond between Becca and her brothers were touching. Love conquers all! I highly recommend this series!

    Now, the T1D in this story elevates it for me but may not for everyone else. So here is my review without the T1D connection….
    She is a sunshiny people-pleaser, he’s a grumpy McGrumperson and her boss. As their story unfolds he keeps major facets of his life away from her. This causes a very big drama and would be their 3rd Act Breakup.
    Their story is set in a distillery as they both work for a major whiskey brand. I found these aspects very unusual and interesting as well.
    Overall this was a romance with some unusual elements that really made it stand out. I find the author’s writing style comforting to read.

    Becca Hartson finally gets her hea. Bittersweet as it’s the last of this series but bring on the next generation. Loved Becca right from the start, she was fiery, strong, witty and loved her family with her whole heart, the man that would capture her needed to be all of those things and hard enough to take on her very very protective brothers and Daniel was that and then some. He was the right mixture of grumpy, sweet, stubborn but also vulnerable due to his upbringing and battles. Together they were an amazing couple. Loved the drama, the family dynamics( specially hers) and the steam. Loved the bonus read too.

    A delightful story which (as with every book I have read by this author) had me hooked from the very first page. I loved getting to know more of the sassy, strong-willed, beautiful and determined Becca, the younger sister of the four gorgeous Heartbreak Brothers.

    Enter the handsome, moody and often rude Daniel Carter who arrives to take over from his brother Nathan as CEO of the local whiskey distillery where Becca works. As they commence working together, there’s banter, flirting, and an undeniable chemistry and attraction between the two, which grumpy Daniel would choose to deny himself of because he believes he’s not the right man for his beautiful employee. But Becca can see there is a gentleness beneath the harsh exterior of this complicated man.

    When We Touch is an emotional, beautiful and heartwarming story. I loved watching the love bloom and grow between these two characters.

    I’m sad that this is where the series ends. However, we are treated to a bonus epilogue which was a wonderful way to end this series. Those overprotective Hartson brothers had me in stitches with their conversations in their group chats, and the glimpse we get into the lives of the whole Hartson family in the future brought happy tears to my eyes.

    Carrie Elks is a wonderful storyteller and this book, and this series, is a must read!
