Sami who had only a few years before had watched her mother die is forced to watch her lover get killed by the boys who run all over the town. She sees the last breath of her lover and her powers grow and she explodes sending them a heat wave that they can't escape. Sami is then caught and tired and left in a prison cell for seven years, and she doesn't think that she will see the sun ever again. One day she hears voices out in the hall and a man comes to her recuse and brings her home with him as he tells her that her father passed away only the week before. This is a tragic story but a great one too and one that will leave you thinking about what could happen next for Sami. I highly recommend picking up a copy.
