    This is an extraordinary book. The storyline is unique while the writing is masterful. You know not everything is as it seems because after all, this is an erotic thriller. A seemingly idyllic couple, with everything planned out for a wonderful life, provides the focus to our story. What can possibly go wrong? One day they are celebrating their first wedding anniversary and in just a moment, life is altered without recourse. The lies will be uncovered and will change relationships that once were stable. Add to all of this the in-laws from hell who can control the police, call in favors because they are powerfully rich and you have a recipe for all the distress and angst. Money, power, influence and a legacy only add fuel to the fire. Shae and Allen's love affair and wonderful relationship has survived the interference of his family since they started dating. Now the hate they feel for Shae will know no bounds and run wild.

    Wicked Kiss is the second installment in this series. It is promised for August 25th, so we do not have long to wait to keep reading this amazing story. WOOHOO!

    Great sexy read that I couldn't put down. I love a good romance with a married couple going through things that married people go through like a ho hum sex life and maybe taking each other for granted a little. Shea and Alan were college sweethearts and have been together for 8 years. The story is from Shea's prospective and she's feeling like her husband isn't paying enough attention to her. She loves him dearly and wants their lives like it used to be. They go out on a date night and Alan seems like he feels the same way and they have a great night together. They make a plan to spend the day together when a tragic accident happens leaving Shea devastated.

    Alan has a best friend named, Jasper, and he starts spending lots of time with Shea. It is apparent that Jasper has an attachment to Shea and is attracted to her. Shea loves her husband though and is having confusing feelings about Jasper. The romance is definitely in the forefront in this story but there is a mysterious plot going on mainly with Alan's family who hate Shea. Things start happening to her vineyard home and the family wants to take it back. There is also a cliff hanger twist at the end that made me start counting the days until book two comes out. Great start to a series!

    M.S. Parker need I say more just her name alone tells you that you are in for one hell of a ride. Not will to pass up a chance to read her books I took the opportunity to read Wicked Lie. I’m beyond glad I did. This is one book you are going to be craving more and more with.
    Shae doesn’t have a perfect life but she does have one that she loves. Getting ready to celebrate their first year of marriage her husband surprise her with a trip from their past only things don’t go just as Shae had planned. Allen is the loving husband we all want and dream of but like with most he has his faults. They are college sweethearts still in as much love as the day they met.
    This is one very emotional and wild ride. Just when you think you might have things figured out what could be going on you are taken and completely different path. I love every minute of Wicked Lie and can’t wait to read Wicked Kiss.

    It was a good story but I didn't like how sad it was. I expected one thing to happen but then it was a surprise that Alan died. I just didn't like how sad the story was. I started book 2 and it's been great so far. I even cheated and read the description for book 3 and now I can't wait to get to book 3 to find out how it all plays out. I've read several of M S Parker's books and this one was definitely different than her others. Some of her others have more sexual content and more explicet.

    Allen and Shae have been together 8 years and are celebrating their 1st anniversary as a married couple . Allen runs a vineyard and Shae is a 2nd grade teacher. Their life is perfect or so it seems...... After a tragic accident Shae is forced to go on and deal with all that is left. Jasper, Allen's best friend from college, is there to help Shae with all the aftermath including her in laws , loss and the vineyard. I don't want to give away all the twists and turns but this was too good to put down. I wiped tears, cheered , hoped and was shocked all in one book. I have read MANY of M. S. Parkers books and series and this was a different style but loved it just the same. Waiting for the next two on pins and needles. I would highly recommend this book and series.
