Here’s a bit about Toya and what she’s up to in her crazy author world right now. She writes paranormal romance, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, and contemporary romance. She’s married with one grown up son and has a cat called Masai. She lives near Ipswich in Suffolk, originally from Essex.

Writing has been her passion since a very early age when her mum encouraged her to use her imagination. Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of her mum, who was also her best friend, in 2009 that she started to take it seriously. Her mother’s wish was to see her published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book she publishes is dedicated to her.

When not writing, or reading, her main hobbies are; cinema, theatre, live bands, gardening, keeping fit, travelling, Formula One racing, darts and spending time with friends.

    I really liked the characters. Shifters move fast, but this all seemed to go fast. Parts of this had me on edge.
    Summary, but I'll try not to spoil anything ... woman goes back to her hometown. Finds interesting and supernatural beings all around. The bully of her childhood has grown up and is even worse. The town has a major problem that she is stuck right in the middle of. Rich people even have the police in their pockets.

    This is a full length Paranormal Romance. A story for those over 18 due to the adult theme.

    Mila Stubbs has always had a love for animals. So finding her wandering a forest is normal for this soon to be forest ranger. With her job starting soon she needed to get settled in. Mila has always had a hard life. With her parents killed and the Bully Drake Scott. Moving to the city was her only option. However moving back to ner home will put her in Danger, but she was not a kid anymore. Elias Crane has found his mate, but she has no idea. With Mila in danger it's Elias who comes to rescue her. But will these two unlikely people become mated? Will Elias convince Mila she is his mate! Will Drake finely be stopped before he hurts or kills somebody else?

    Toya Richardson is my new favorite paranormal author. Her story is fast paced and she leaves you wanting so much more. I was drawn in on the first page and could not stop reading, until the last page had been read. The characters in this story have strong roles and Mila is no push over. She is strong willed and has no problem taking what is hers. As for Elias, he is too hot to handle. The romance between these two people is nothing more than HOT! Hot! HOT! Well Done Toya Richardson! Well Done!

    Wild Desire was a good read. This is the first book out of this series I've read before. I wasn't sure what exactly to expect when I picked this book up besides some romance and paranormal shifters. I was not expecting the steam! This book was probably about 70% steam and spicy content. This book had a great storyline, but I feel like it could have been executed better. There was a ton of chances to throw some suspense in there and more action and excitement and it was kind of just skipped over for more sex scenes. I enjoyed reading this book it just didn't hold my interest like I really wanted it to. I hope the next books in this series gets better! This has potential to be an amazing series!

    Mila left her hometown after her parents were killed. Now she's back and she plans to look into what happened to them. However she never expected to meet Elias and have him tell her that she's his mate. After learning all these new things she realizes that there's more going on in her little town than she first thought. Elias wants to claim his mate but knows that she needs to adjust to what she has learned. Yet danger is lurking close by will he be able to wait to claim her? Can they find a way to be together? Will Mila find the answers she's looking for?

    This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

    Wild Desire is the first book of Toya Richardson’s exciting new series. This is a book where you become so consumed by the story that you forget about the world around you and lose track of time. Once you reach the end, it takes time to return to reality because this author's beautiful and hot words make you feel like you were actually there with her amazing characters. For me, this is my favourite book by this author so far and I could've sat for hours reading about the new world she has created.

    Elias is all male and is even hot when he's being all possessive and protective. You'll definitely wish he could claim you for his own! Mila is full of fire and never gives up, but is also selfless and puts herself at risk to save others. I love how this author's female characters can stand on their own and take on the world. As for her male characters, I'd happily have them all and wouldn't share lol. We also always get secondary characters who stand out and remain with you as much as the main characters. I'm excited to see which of them from this series get their own story. I'd also be happy if Mathis and Lily got a book telling us about their journey to becoming a couple as we get glimpses of what happened in this book.

    Toya Richardson is an author that you must read, and I can guarantee you won't ever be disappointed. She is clearly very talented and I can't wait to see what else she gives us in the future! Wild Desire is definitely a recommended read!

    I love a really well written paranormal book that just sucks you In from the start. This book
    Grabs and takes you on a wonderful adventure. There is mystery and adventure with world building that is realistic and believable. I will be honest shifter books are not usually my thing, but wow this story just had it all. I honestly enjoyed this story until the last page. Mila is a strong character that is relatable I liked her strength and personality. I don’t want to give to much away but this is a good love story with a few roadblocks thrown in to keep you on your toes. I loved Elias and there romance will give you the feels. Can’t wait to read book two!!!

    What an absolutely brilliant start to this pnr series by the author. Beautifully built bonds between the cast of characters and plenty going on to keep you reading and wanting more. This story focuses on Elias and Mila and I loved the banter and connection between them. I really liked how Mila embraced nature and all the shocks that came her way. Drake, his father and their facility are absolutely hateful and you spend the whole novel wanting them to get their comeuppance...I will not spoil anything for anyone as to whether they do or not. There are a whole host of other interesting characters who I cannot wait to find out more about in the rest of the series. Brilliant!!

    Wild Desire is the first book in The Protectors series by Toya Richardson. As I started further into this fantastic series, it has been great to go back and ‘see’ where everything began. This is a superb paranormal romance, with shifters, fated mates, drama, danger, suspense, trauma, fear, action, agendas, and emotion.
    Mila Stubbs has had a traumatic past but is hoping her new job will be another step towards a brighter future. The only problem is that being a forest ranger means it will be placing her a little close to her past- one she would much rather forget and leave behind.     Book 1 in Toya Richardson's new PNR series. After reading all of Toya's fluffy contemporary romance novels I was wondering where She wood take a paranormal story of this kind. It didn't disappoint. You can tell from reading the book that the author does love delving into the paranormal world. It shone through the words and the characters. I have to say that this was the best written book of Richardson's to date. It flowed nicely, the characters were likeable, and the setting was just right for this story. I look forward to reading more.
