**Authors Note: Each book in the NOLA Shifters Series is a stand alone, they are interconnected. Each book ends with an HEA. Also, as the characters are shifters, there may be situations that wouldn't normally arise in a romance novel. The pull of a mate is something that is intrinsically written into their DNA. It is not something that can be fought or controlled. When a shifter meets their mate, the attraction is immediate and intense. As such, they may find themselves doing something that they never expected, even something that goes completely against their own moral code.

Wild Lilies
Shifter romance that I actually liked which is rare with the exception of dragons. I mean it is clique in that both realize each is their mate. Declan pursues while Lily fights it all works out in the end. I did like the intro into all the other characters and I liked Declan’s and Lily’s characters. I think that’s what made the story interesting.
Good story
Gave this book 5 stars because the story was great.
There were a lot of typos, especially as the story progressed. The ending felt rushed and (personally) there was a lot of unnecessary detail in some situations (like what they ordered as an appetizer, main course, to drink, and dessert) but I get that is more of a personal preference on my end. a lot of the same conversations happened (for example when someone new was introduced it was said almost every time “oh I like -so and so- he/she will keep you on your toes. Feisty/stubborn” type of convo. ) also a big inconsistency I found was her weight or curves. Through most of the book, it was mentioned on multiple occasions she was curvy and and shopped at torrids. But then towards the end of the book, it was said they would never be “big” because of how fast their metabolisms worked being shifters.
So while my criticism of the book is mainly personal preference, I enjoyed the story and the characters. It was a fun read.
