This book had me laughing and shaking my head in wonder. Luna the cat (familiar companion)is definitely the star of this book! The dialogue between Lexie and Luna is really funny--and that cat knows how to manipulate Lexie to get what is upper most-gourmet cat food and a broom and let's not forget that carpet!! Meanwhile there is a murder and Lexie wants to solve it--and while she attempts this--she starts actually getting powers (PIZZA-lots of PIZZA)--Luna checks and yes, plenty of gourmet cat food as well!! If you just want to relax and read a good, clean and book that will make you laugh--this is for you! This can be read as a stand alone-I did it-and loved it--but now I want to read more of this series!!

    After being forced to attend a therapy lesson and then being sent to a team building exercise due to a complaint being filed against them.
    Lexy and Luna are yet again faced with solving a murder and aiding another member of the O'roark group.
    Only this one doesn't want to be bothered with Lexy so she's pretty much on her own.
    Pro's:
    Developed characters and a fun storyline.
    Con's:
    As incoming high chair, Lexy's cousin Mirabell, who is aready a High Chair has way too much fun keeping Lexy under her thumb and does everything she can to make Lexy's life miserable including an ongoing campaign to steal Lexy's assistant that her mom assigned to her.
    Also, her boss and supposedly 'protector' does a lousy job of protecting her as he is never around when she's in danger. He's more of a monitor who reports to higher ups on her doings and trying to figure a way out of his job so he can spend more time at his bar that he owns.

    This is a good, wholesome read with fun characters. Lexi and her feline companion, Luna are on a case again. They are in therapy. They cannot use magic, but everyone could not abide by the rules. The relationship and dialogue between Lexi and Luna were enjoyable. I was looking for a good book to read. I found this one after scrolling through my Kindle library. It was a good find.

    A witch and her feline companion need to get along. Especially when the witch is in training for a high position. Lexie and Luna find themselves in the midst of murder and mayhem when sent to a team building seminar.
    The banter between them while trying to solve not one but two mysteries, kept me smiling and guessing right to the end.
    A great light read, entertaining with a fair bit of humor.
