I have been looking forward to reading this boxed set since I heard about it. I love this series so much. Master Marshall’s niece is a witness to a crime and what better way to protect her until the criminal is caught, then in the Castle. Because nobody gets into the Castle uninvited or do they?
This boxed set introduces new characters and authors to the Master world and we reunite with familiar faces.
It is a must read if you are a fan of the series and otherwise a great introduction into the castle.
Taming Terri
The star of the story for me is Champ. He is quite a character, a bit of a charmer and a hero.
I liked Nick a lot. He had a lot a patience and it was great to see him show his true nature to Terri.
Terri was a character I had trouble with. She was annoying for 90% of the book. She wanted to be professional and be seen as a important part of the team. She wanted to be taken serious, but as soon as she gets an assignment she didn’t like, she acts like a rude brat. And she doesn’t let up..
I did enjoy Nick and Terri’s interaction, it made me laugh and it was hot.
Embracing Eden
I just loved this story so much.
Eden is such a wonderful character. She is sweet,adorable and genuine. I just loved her for the first moment
And I have been hoping there would be a Grimsley story. He might seem all stiff and proper and in charge of his emotions, but when he meets Eden everything changes. I loved seeing him getting all wound up in his emotions and his internal turmoil. It makes him more human and very sexy.
It was so lovely to see them together and there is such a chemistry between them even though there is no sex until the end. The sparks are there from the first meeting. But there is also a great insight into their emotions and feeling.
This was my favorite story in the set.
Tempting Tasha
What is it about the Dungeon masters of the Castle. They are just panty melting hot and when the mighty fall, they fall hard.
There is an instant connection between tasha and Eamon and oh so hot. Tasha is a very likable character. I loved her innocence and strength and open mind.
Can I have an Eamon? I loved how he showed Tasha a whole new world.
And this book also shows that the security isn’t so tight as marshall thinks.
Freeing Fawn
Fawn is a thief who is ordered to kill a man to save her father. She has no idea how or what. She is newbie, but that is not what her paperworks says. That is something that had happened before .
Dane is a FBI agent and has fawn on his radar from the moment he sees her. She is hiding something, but what?
And what better way to a trip to the Dungeon to get the truth out. I loved how these two danced around each other and both had their own agenda and didn’t want to give in.
Controlling Carlie
Carlie has had a crush on Luke since she was just a kid, but he sees her as his best friends little sister.
It is not until he sees her at the castle when he realises she is all grown up. Luke tries everything in his power to scare carlie until leaving so he won’t crack. But that isn’t as easy as it seems. It was wonderful to see charlie's journey into this lifestyle
There is a lot of emotions in this story. the have know each other for years and finally being together can either ruin them or make them stronger
Guarding Grace
grace is a wonderful character. she is blind, but that doesn’t stop her doing anything. she is smart, sassy and caring
Chris is suffering from PTSD, but is working hard to overcome his his fears and will do anything to keep grace safe.
I loved how both of them helped each other and made each other stronger. they just fit like two pieces of a puzzle.
