4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 409 ratings

They walk among us. Their numbers are growing. They want to kill us.

"Does for werewolves what The Walking Dead has done for zombies" ... "Full of surprise and suspense"

Werewolves run wild in London. Riots grip the city as vigilantes and protesters take to the streets.

The Prime Minister is determined to contain the disease before it spreads further. She fights back ruthlessly with all the tools of government at her disposal.

But Leanna’s plans are only just beginning to unfold. The leader of the werewolves and her army of Wolf Brothers are already one step ahead of the authorities.

And for the ordinary people caught up in the conflict, daily life becomes a fight for survival.

WOLF MOON injects an original and exhilarating new twist into the werewolf genre. Don’t miss out on the next big trend in apocalyptic fiction.

Editorial Reviews

Review

Wolf Moon is the sequel to Wolf Blood, and boy, it's a doozy. Wolf Moon is just as intense as Wolf Blood, if not more so. It's a crazy ride through the depths of hell, and not everyone is going to survive this one. Jazzy's Book Reviews

A horror novel that is not simply gore and suspense.
It's dark but wonderful all the same. Texas Book Nook

If you love a
good werewolf story, look no further. Wolf Moon is a great sequel to Wolf Blood, both great additions to the genre. I can't wait to see what Steve Morris has in store next. J bronder Book Reviews

A wonderful horror! The Indie Express

An intriguing storyline. The story really
allows readers to become sucked into the characters' lives and ultimate outcome. It was very well written and I enjoyed the mix of action, fantasy and horror. On a Reading Bender

Superb writing from Steve Morris and
an action packed story. The writing really jumped off the pages and will have readers flipping pages furiously. My Addiction is Reading

Complex plot story combining modern science tied to Old World superstition. Great character building with all the trimmings of hero and villian, young and old, tragic, naive, and arrogant. Each chapter builds to a seeming conclusion leading the reader to want more! As werewolf stories go, this series and book are well worth escape reading while sipping wine or having a cold beer.

It's a fun story with engaging characters. One piece of advice.... just skip, entirely, every chapter that is from Sarah's perspective. They are absolutely useless and boring. Sarah's character adds less than zero to the story and even though she is the sister of one of the more interesting characters I cant find one reason why she is in this story other than to add pages. Also, the explanation of how the werewolfs only eat once a month, can only change under the full moon, and how the retain human skeleton during change (the change consists only of cartilage), are examples of details that will pull you out of the book and break the story. But if you can forget these absurd plot devices the story is engaging. I'll probably read book 3.

Just a great series. Hard to put this book down. No fluff, no indecisive protagonists. Exactly what you’d think a werewolf apocalypse would be like. Great storytelling and great writing. It’s rare when you get both. If you’re looking for romance and happy endings, this isn’t it. If you want a great realistic story that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time, buy it.

    Wolf moon

I would give this 10 stars if there was an option...

Suffice it to say... I have two words - READ IT!

I read this book in a day... At risk of greviois bodily harm to myself by a hangry daughter. My phone battery went flat and I panicked as to not being able to finish without being plugged in.
Roller coaster thrill a second page turner on epic proportions...

I have plouged through the series like a bowling ball through the pins... STRIKE!

Book nr 2 takes up the story right where it left in nr 1, its just as well written and a page turner, there are som actions lacking logic and this is the reason for not giving 5 stars but the storyline is good and caracters well described, you get to care for the heros and i find this a fun read and look forward to book 3, already downloaded in Kindle app

Liked it a lot. I hope the next book is going to be even better let’s bring the group together.

Book 2 doesn't see as much werewolf action as book one, but it's still such a great read. Leanne and her ilk are determined to spread the virus as far as they can. The story itself is starting to pick up pace and characters are coming together. I read this one faster than the first as I needed to see what happy and I'm glad I have the next one lined up.

Just finished Book 2 of this series and plan to go right to Book 3. Kind of like a zombie tale where an infectious disease is spreading through the world but your turning the population into werewolves not zombies. Very fast paced and great characters - both wolves and humans

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic werewolf adventure

I thought this a riveting second book in this apocalyptic werewolf series. Wolf Moon picks up the action where Wolf Blood finished, so make sure you read Wolf Blood first. The story in wolf Moon follows the adventures of all the characters we met in the first book and also introduces a few new ones. The action is fast paced and unrelenting and full of unexpected twists and turns. The characters are well drawn and believable and you can’t wait to find out what their fate may be. Never thought I would be a werewolf fan but can’t wait for the next in the series . What an imagination!

I really enjoyed this book. Strong character development. I cared about each of the groups of people.
Different characters make realistic practical and moral decisions with change with the situation.

5.0 out of 5 stars And So It Goes On.

Not the bloodbath book one was and in a way all the better for it as we see the original characters storys fleshed out, (forgive any pun). and given more substance, with each of them trying to cope and survive a nightmare world in there own way. As ever we're left with a cliff hanger plot, and with book three due, time to relax before the war begins and the killing starts, again!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Gripping read but has some niggling flaws
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 3, 2019
Very well written and fast paced, it does draw you into the world of the characters and makes you care about them.

However the dichotomy between the biological basis for the infection and spread of the werewolf virus, along with the descriptions of how the bodies and brains of the werewolves change under the influence of the virus, especially the autopsy that shows that the werewolves are only 'pretend' wolves jars far too much with the 'supernatural' abilities of the werewolves - their hunger only for human flesh, their ability to go a month without food and suffer no ill effects, the ability to only transform under the light of a full moon etc.

Also the statement at the end of this book that all four Vanguard Class SSBN's are putting to sea is nonsense - the UK Deterrence force is designed to have one SSBN at sea at any one time, and its deployment, crewing (2 crews per submarine), training, refit and repair schedule is designed around that aim. Putting all 4 SSBN's to sea is 1. not needed 2. probably impossible and 3. a HUGELY PROVOCATIVE move in terms of deterrence and one that the Russians and Chinese, never mind the American's, would react very poorly too.

That said I have just purchased the 3rd book, if you can get over the flaws and suspend some belief (hell its a werewolf story after all) it remains a ripping read.
