Wolf War: The Twilight of Humanity (Lycanthropic Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 249 ratings

The war between humans and werewolves has begun.

"Does for werewolves what The Walking Dead has done for zombies" ... "Full of surprise and suspense"

The days of Homo sapiens are coming to an end. A new power is rising: Homo lupinus, the wolf man.

Leanna, the self-styled queen of the werewolves, marshals her forces ready for a great battle, gathering her soldiers into an iron fist.

The army strikes back, unleashing the devastating power of twenty-first century warfare.

But werewolves are not the only enemy. Wherever humans go, evil walks with them.

In the struggle for survival, strange alliances will be forged. The strong and the brave, the foolish and the wicked – all will play their part before the battle for London is over.

WOLF WAR injects an original and exhilarating new twist into the werewolf genre. Don’t miss out on the next big trend in apocalyptic fiction.

The characters and their individual stories alone makes this book great. Add to that the ongoing and ever growing mysteries and surprises of the “now supernatural communities” world wide makes this book awesome. But the good vs bad, dark vs light, and the roles that all characters play in it, make this book SPECTACULAR!!!! You truly brought something new to this genre and I’m anxiously waiting for book 4. Well.... guess I start over with book 1 and mind watch it back up to this point.

This is what I have been talking about. A series bringing the right stuff. These werewolves aren't dating or whining about the change, they do what you expect them to do. And they do it savagely. I can not wait for the next book. The author is bringing the story without spending half the book retelling what you have already read. It is worth the money and time. I just hope book 4 keeps the momentum going.

I really enjoyed this book even more than the first of the series.
Really great lead up to the wolf/human war. Cannot wait for Book 4.
Hats off to you Steve Morris.

Wery well written, the story unfolds in ways you can't predict, it leaves some questions unanswered like what the hell is Liz, i really look forward to reading book 4 in this serie, got to love the main caracters

I struggled a little early on getting into this book despite skimming the last few chapters of the previous one (Wolf Blood) as a refresh.
I’m putting it down to the usual wait between books because once I was several chapters in I was back and loving it.
This is the third book and I am fully invested in both the story and the characters.

The story slowly continues and we follow all the main characters as tension mounts and war breaks out.
The most intriguing character for me is Liz.
    What exactly is she?
And why is she so different?

Now I’m just left waiting for the next book.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the author.

Book number 3 was just OK. I found myself caring less and less about the characters. Not a lot happened in this book. It was sort of like reading Facebook posts. Pointless information about characters going about their uninteresting daily chores. The first book was intriguing, they seem to be getting worse. But overall the story that began in book 1 still has enough pull to have me slogging through the series. I'll try book 4 but unless there is a big improvement that will be it for me

This was written before Lockdown. I’d have found Govt behaviour unbelievable if I’d read this when it came out but it turned out to be accurate.

Exciting follow through, with the end taking us beyond what we have seen so far IRL.

The author must be a fascinating man to know.

Gripped me from start to finish... continues in the same vein as the first two but turns the volume up even further.
Smart character-driven fantasy that plays like an action movie...more please!
