Brio is my number 1 in this series!!!
I felt that Brio would be my favorite man in this series, and I was not wrong! I absolutely love crazy, sexy, sweet men and Brio was definitely all of that 😂. Jessica Gadziala knew exactly what she was doing with the buildup to Brio and Ezzy’s story because from page one excellence burst from the pages! When we first met Brio, I wasn’t sure what kind of woman he needed but after meeting Ezzy I realize it could be no other woman but her! These two were beautiful together in a tragically dysfunctional kind of way. As this story progressed, I felt so many emotions seeing things play out from each character’s point of view. The storyline, the characters, the suspense even the moments of hilarity in this book made it easily one of my top 5 reads from this author. I have read every book in this series and the connecting series, and I am in wonderment of how golden this book is. As always, we were introduced to new characters and now, I’m needing to know more about them all!

    Omh! This story gets a bit darker & bloody than I like (I did have to skip the torture scenes), but it's Brio, so the bloody bits were necessary in a way, and true to character. 😄

    And I ADORE Brio! From the moment he sees Ezmeray, he's smitten. Protective. Willing to go a bit rogue for her. Thankfully, Lorenzo gets where he's com8ng from! Ha!

    I also LOVE Ezzy! She's stuck in a situation she'd really love to get out of, but she doesn't let that situation break her spirit. She's strong, protective, sweet, & smart. I love her quick way of reading a situation & doing what she needs to to protect herself & others.

    Ezzy & Brio definitely have the steamy times, too. Chemistry!! 🔥🌶🔥🌶

    I enjoyed the twists & turns while getting to know these two. Also, Brio's love of animals is adorable. And the way he & Ezzy really are perfect for each other is fantastic!

    Well!! We've all been waiting for Brio, and his lady love for a couple of years now, and Ms. Gadziala definitely did NOT disappoint!!

    I was worried that Brio would come across as someone free of emotions, simply sent over to do a job, but that was not the case. Even at the very beginning when he could hear Emilio talking about him, he wasn't hurt, but he did have feelings about it.
    I loved his reactions to Ezmeray's reaction's, some overwhelmingly sexy, some surprised - who knew a woman would not respond well to a gift like that??

    Ezmeray is amazing! Even as beaten down as she had become, as soon as the opportunity was there to move on from Eray she was ready. She had no intention of staying to be beaten down by the rest of his family, and she wasn't so hurt that she couldn't have a normal sexual response to Brio.

    I love the side characters! Sal, and Cesare have to be my favorite. Even though Brio was offended, I was grateful for Salvatore sticking around to ensure that Brio did the right thing. I love, LOVE Cesare's playfulness, and his hotness rivals Brios, so even though Brio has found his one and only we can spend our time thinking about Cesare now, and trying to figure out who he most closely resembles!!

    The epilogue is brilliant, especially that last bit, it brought me to tears. Brio and Ezmeray deserved all the happiness. 5 stars for a brilliant, bloody, mafia laden story that just hits right with the perfect amount of spice!!

    Brio has been portrayed as a crazy psycho through other books. Most people are extremely afraid or freaked out by him. Ezmeray catches Brio's attention and sets off a chain of reactions. There are twists and turns that change what you think. This is a sweet but kind of twisted love story.

    I honestly can't think of the right ways to write my thoughts out about this book.
    We have ALL been asking for Brio's story from the moment he was introduced as a side character. The want has only grown as he continued to pop up in a few other places.
    Jessica could not have made his story any better. Ezzy?? She is without a doubt the match for Brio!! I don't know how JG does it but Ezzy was exactly what Brio has been needing.
    And let's not forget JGs wonderfully amazing epilogues. 😭

    I live this mafia series. This book wasn't as much about the mafia group as the others but I still loved it. The h was perfect for the H. So glad Brio got his hea. The h's sister was a trip and I can't wait to find out who she ends up with. That epilogue was chefs 💋😘

    But again, what did we expect of Gadziala? Great book. Bio has been one of my favourite characters and they did him justice, just wished it was longer so we could get more in-depth into his mind and past. I wouldn't say this book was dark but it does explore a more bloody side of the criminal world that what this author has us used to maintaining the action, comedy and so on we know and love. But I have to confess Alara stole the place! I can't wait to read more about her and I hope she gets her own book.

    Ahh Brio, everyone’s favourite psychopath finally gets his story, and of course it’s wonderful.

    He sees a gorgeous woman getting beat on by her husband, and of course that doesn’t fit in his moral code, he intervened and things …got messy.

    I loved how psycho yet gentle he was, and how Ezzy understood him beyond what you’d expect.

    That being side the side characters… j cannot wait if Alara or Mira get their story… here’s hoping they’re next.

    Only thing, I think have a little less foreshadowing would have been fine, adding a sentence of gloom every other chapter was a lil much
