    I never read the original version but am very happy this was reset in the Cinnamon Bay World where many old friends were revisited. Sasha has been misjudged her entire life by the crimes of her father in the past. Kevin has known her since high school, but never had the courage to befriend her as he felt fairly invisible. But now he's a rising star in Hollywood and has returned home for his sister's wedding.

    Currently Sasha's dad is suffering with Alzheimer's and she is just steps away from not being able to care for him. Kevin is trying to restore his own reputation that has been significantly smeared by his ex girlfriend and reaches out to help her.

    Both Sasha and Kevin are genuine people who have so much to overcome, but with help from some old friends in CinBay, they finally feel like they fit in. It's a great second chance for them to find happiness and move forward in life together. Nikki Lynn Barrett always tugs on my heartstrings and I very much enjoyed this story where kindness triumphed!

    I really enjoyed this story. It was a sweet quick read. It's definitely not your typical "Hollywood bad boy" book. The intimate scenes are fade to black, which was kind of refreshing.

    I wish it had been a smidgen longer, only so I could have stayed immersed in their story for a bit longer as I read quickly.

    Absolutely loved this book. It's not your normal "Scrooge" story. I don't get to read as often as I did but when I can I always look to see if Nikki has anything new. I won't give anything away. For me it's a fast read. The characters are fully developed, story runs smoothly, and the story also has some of life's hardships that really hit home. It's not just a romance, it's complex and gives you something more. Great Job again.

    With his reputation hanging in shreds due to a malicious smear campaign, Kevin Wright returns home to Cinnamon Bay for his sister's wedding. His attitude is brittle and abrupt when he bumps into Sasha Moretti, whom he does not at first recognize, despite her familiarity. Sasha is just as abrupt with Kevin, which leaves him somewhat astounded. When he discovers that she is in fact the girl he had a secret crush on, he determines to find a way to reintroduce himself. If Kevin's life is comprised of drama, it is nothing compared to the drama of his bridezilla sister and the problems Sasha is dealing with at home with her ill father. Kevin carefully befriends Sasha until it would seem that he is winning her over, but when he discovers that his agent is at work in the background and his ex-girlfriend is up to her tricks again, the wheels almost come off their budding romance. The novel, fortunately, comes to a sweet conclusion and even the three elderly matchmakers at the coffee shop are pleased. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

    What can I say? Well Scrooge You is yet another fabulous story from Nikki, It's extremely very well written with wonderful characters that you fall in love with.
    I fell in love with A Cinnamon Bay Romance from the very first series, that's where I found Nikki, I have never looked back on her works.
    This book first came out back in 2015 but has been rewritten to fall into the Cinnamon Bay series. I haven't read the first edition, but this version is brilliant!
    I love the chemistry between Sasha and Kevin, both went to the same high school but didn't connect, and both thought the other was out of their league.
    Kevin comes home to Cinnamon Bay for his little sister's wedding, and also after a very public breakup (he's a movie star). Sasha has more trouble with her ailing father. Can Sasha and Kevin find their HEA? purchase the book to find out. I don't believe my words will do the book the justice it deserves, yes, it's that good.
    Scrooge You! is certainly a book I would have no hesitation in recommending.

    I really liked that this book took place in Cinnamon Bay, North Carolina.  I also liked the expanded version of the original story.  The characters all touched my heart with their struggles and strengths.  Kevin and Sasha were perfect for each other and seemed to bring out the best in each other. It was interesting to see how Kevin differed from his father and his sister.  I am  so glad that he found the happiness he was looking for.  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

    I liked Cinnamon Bay so I was excited to read this book. I liked Sasha she was strong willed and really would stop at nothing to help her dad she has a protective wall up around her because of things that were beyond her control and while she was slow to let people in once you were in her inner circle she would do anything for you, she cared and loved deeply. I was not a huge fan of Kevin I found him for the most part of the book a bit to pushy and I was just over it, he did have a big heart and cared for those close to him. I really like Arlene she I want to know her story she was so good to Sasha and she was one of the kindest people in the book. I did like this group of friends they were a fun group to read about. Overall this book was a fun read! There is adult content in this book so it may not be suitable for all readers.

    Kevin is back home for his sister wedding. He hopes that the bad press he is getting will go away soon. Sasha wants to help her father, which is not that easy. Will both of them find what they looking for?
    Lovely storyline, enjoyed a lot.
