    Xtreme Pressure is the 6th book in author Em Petrova's Xtreme Ops series. To say that I am addicted to this series would be an understatement! This time around it is Special Operative Chris Paxton's turn for adventure and love. In a previous mission, he was shot in the leg which shattered his shin. Though multiple operations and months of hard work in a rehabilitation center in Arizona, "Pax" has finally been medically cleared to rejoin his "brothers" and fellow members of Xtreme Ops in Alaska.

    Jersey Walker is the daughter and sister of the leaders of one of this nation's largest and most deadly gangs- the Omegas. Having heard of her family's plot to bomb a federal building in Arizona, Jersey wanted no part of seeing innocent people being killed. After approaching Homeland Security with her knowledge and thwarting their attempt, she found herself with a bounty on her head placed there by none other than her own father. With nowhere else to turn, she sneaks into a rehabilitation center for wounded soldiers hoping to find someone to help protect her and keep her alive. She spies "Pax" sitting in a wheelchair after a particularly grueling workout, half knocked out on pain meds. She proceeds to do the near impossible- kidnap a lethally trained special operative and smuggle him out of the rehab center. Once he wakes up, what will become of her fate? Will Pax kill her? Or will he believe her story and help her to escape from her family?

    Xtreme Pressure is purely addicting from the very first page. I dare any reader to be able to put this book down without finishing the entire read in one sitting. It is just that good!

    I loved the setup of this book. I loved the way that Jersey's meets Paxton and how they get acquainted. I really enjoyed how this little woman was able to pull off the stunt she did against a special operative.

    I liked that Paxton was able to see through what she did and just how scared she was and that she was someone in need of help.

    This book has the suspense on point and being you were dealing with two very stubborn people, that the chemistry was going to be off the charts.

    This was a great addition to this series.

    Ok great story but I am a bit confused and I won't give this story away Except to have or not have children comes up. So with the time frame given the twins should have come but nothing is said about Lipton and Jenna twins they were expecting in the last book... otherwise this was a good story.

    From the beginning when Jersey drugged Pax and kidnapped him from rehab so he could protect her from her criminal family who want revenge this book took me on a ride with plenty of suspense and some funny, sweet, and steamy moments. I don't know what I would have done in Jersey's shoes, but I don't think I'd make a very good waitress either since I'm clumsy too. Pax and the Xtreme Ops had a lot going on with all the bad guys that keep popping up, but that doesn't stop him worrying about Jersey. It was like they were lulled into a false sense of security even though they knew her family wasn't giving up on finding her.

    This is an exciting action packed book. Chris “Pax” Paxton has been rehabbing his leg for the last 4 months and has finally been cleared to return to the Xtreme Ops team. That is until a tiny he wakes up and realizes he has been kidnapped by a tiny tough woman names Jersey Walker who needs a bodyguard to protect her from her family who help run one of the largest gangs in the country. He takes her to Alaska but worries she is still not safe. These two have an instant attraction but is from the danger or something real. Will they live long enough to find out?

    This book in the Xtreme Ops series was full of suspense pretty much from beginning to end.

    Pax and Jersey's relationship started out with them on the run. I thought it was interesting based on how they met that Pax was so open and willing to help Jersey. Later in the book, I discovered why things played out that way.

    I really wanted it to be described how that waitress paid a price for what she did. I know detailing how some of the bad guys paid the price would have made for a much longer book, but I would have read it.

    I also thought it was interesting that interaction or lack thereof with Jersey and her family worked out like it did. I think I expected a lot more conversation to occur.

    Although Pax and Jersey did get their HEA, I didn't expect the book to end the way it did. This was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. It was full of action, suspense, and intrigue; as well as romance, and a good amount of heat.
