About the author

Better known as Manic Sylph to thousands of her online fans, Mona Soorma has several books of poetry, micro-poetry, and poetic prose to her credit. Her love poetry never fails to touch the hearts of her readers with its simplicity and honesty of emotion. The micro-poetry series “Forever Love” is a popular pick of the contemporary reader who wants to experience the depth of poetry in tiny packages.
Words have always been close to her heart, and poetry her greatest love. It was destiny perhaps, that brought her into the world of social media in mid-2014, where Manic Sylph was born, a name she chose to describe what she is without needing to say who she is. She began her journey with a blog of positive affirmations and wrote two books of inspirational quotes on Wattpad that stayed in the top two slots for months (and are still going strong) which gave her the courage to get published. In time she meandered into poetry, where she feels her soul has found its home.
