This story caught me up from the get-go. I did not want to put it down, even to go to work. Rough around the edges, proud, sassy FMC sparring with hot, persistent, smooth talking, swoon worthy mysterious MMC cowboy, what was not to love. Said cowboy, Jack slowly breaks down Tatums walls with his swoon worthy horse whispering/singing, and hot AF chemistry, all while trying to help Tatum save her ranch that her worthless, dead husband tried to gamble away. This story was so heartfelt, tears definitely fell when enemies to lovers found their HEA in a small horse ranch on Lone Star TX.
