The Idol Who Became Her World: A K-Pop Academy Book (Zodiac 1) Kindle Edition
The journey to fame and stardom would have been a whole lot smoother if they hadn't fallen in love...
Lucinda Williams knew she was going to attend Julliard and learn from the best dance teachers. Nothing was going to stop her dream of dancing on Broadway.
Nothing except a scrawny Korean kid who had attended every dance academy summer programs with her.
In a world where Lee Minhyuk was banned from social media and they had to keep in touch with long, hand-written letters in each other's languages, Lucinda knew she had fallen in love with Minhyuk.
And this was the summer she was going to tell him how she felt.
Minhyuk was going to become an idol. With his two best friends, they were going to become members of the next big K-pop group. Jaehoon could rap, Sungil could hit the high notes, and with Minhyuk's dancing, nothing was going to stop them.
Nothing except a small American dancer called Lucinda he had fallen in love with.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI have read J.S. Lee's H3RO and Onyx books and am now reading her Zodiac books. The Zodiac books are for a younger audience as the main characters are in their middle to late teens. The books are written for that age group. The books under her name as J.S. Lee are for a much more mature audience - definitely 18++. I have enjoyed all of her books.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis book was very innocent that makes you feel like a teenager again. It is a great start to young love and I love how it brings two people from very different parts of the world together through the world of dance. I cannot wait to read the next one.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2020Format: KindleThis was really cute and sweet. At the end, I was worried about their reckless rendezvous because ~scandals~. No doubt more of that is coming up.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2022Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseThe most positive thing I can say about this book is that my daughter is reading it and she hasn’t wanted to read anything since at least 2020!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2019Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI think I'm in love. This story makes me feel young again and to read about that whole star crossed lovers/ young love/ first love is such pure joy. I'm excited to read the next book to find out what happens.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2020Format: KindleVerified PurchaseSuch a cute start! I love the innocence and hope, and the determination of both MC's to work towards their dream, and to find away to make their love work. I am on pins & needles for the next book.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2018Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a sweet new adult story of two teenagers overcoming obstacles to achieve their dreams while maintaining a real on opposite sides of the planet.
It's a little oversimplified in parts but overall I enjoyed it.
