    I Don't is a standalone romantic comedy by Andrea Johnston. This is one of my favorite reads of 2018! It was a departure for Andrea in the sense that her writing style still holds the quirky, lovable banter that her readers have come to love but also showed a really raw emotional side of some characters. You see the proverbial warts and all which is awesome because it is messy (and funny) like real life.

    Whitney has the perfect life, perfect fiancé Trenton and she has done everything she can to ensure that she has the picture perfect wedding.

    BUT...

    When a curve ball is thrown at Whitney's head, she has the choice of whether to dodge it or catch it and throw that crap back!

    Enter Lucas DeCosta. Lucas and Whitney have known each other since high school and they have had a crush on each other for that long too. The chemistry is FIRE! Add in a road trip, puppies and a few male strippers and you have a great storyline. The characters are lovable, memorable and I found myself rooting for all of them as well as understanding some of their issues.

    This is the perfect summer read with lots of laugh out loud moments. Seriously, don't drink anything while reading because you could spit it out laughing at some of the one liners.

    Oh my goodness!! What a fun read!! I had such a blast reading I Don't! I thought going in that this would be more of a 'Runaway Bride' story, but it definitely had more of a "Wedding Planner" meets "Magic Mike" vibe to it that I absolutely adored!

    I Don't is a slow burn romance that will have your windows fogging up from the panting you will be doing leading up to the epic bang sesh! I was a little nervous going into this story because Winter Break also by Andrea Johnston had a little too much sex for my taste. I didn't need to worry, because this one was simmering with sexual tension and not overwrought with them going at it.

    Think of I Don't as a journey of rediscovering who you are and setting aside standards of perfection you have set on yourself to fall in love with yourself again after years of trying to live up to what you were told once, kind of ish like, when Ricky Bobby was living by the saying of "If you aren't first, you're last." Okay so that probably isn't be the best example, but whatever.

    I absolutely couldn't get enough of this courtship! It was so freaking sweet and thoughtful and I couldn't get enough of it. I was drowning in the swoons! I love romance and comedy and I Don't has both in spades!

    Book was a good read and flowed well. Was a realistic interpretation of a heartbreaking story for our heroine,but with all second chance meet agains I feel like if they would have just opened up a little more in truthful dialogue a lot of the angst and drama could have been prevented. However, I also understand the reason for it within the story. The main characters were great and the side characters were lovely. Was a light hearted book with plenty of laughs and feel good moments. A perfect romcom all the way. I do wish our girl was a little less wishy washy , but understood starting over is hard. Good book would definitely read the book and other books from this author again.

    What a fun read. I Don’t starts as the book about a wedding gone wrong (a week before hand) to finding Mr. Right … who was Mr. Right long ago as well.

    We start with Whitney Wheeler, who just before her wedding to who she thinks is Mr. Right, finding him having sexy times with someone else in their home. Needless to say she’s pop’s a cork and takes off to meet up with her bridesmaid for the party that they were supposed to have.

    With the gals finding out about what went down, they end up at a club where Whit comes face to face with the boy from her past that she loved in high school until she didn’t. Lucas is all man now and boy can he work his stuff. While she is mortified about going on stage, she ends up enjoying her time in the spot light and Lucas. While still reeling from her future ex, she has all the feels for Lucas and doesn’t know what to do with them. After the show and with the encouragement of the gal pals, she takes a road trip with Lucas to deliver to adorable pup’s to their forever home with Lucas. The trip goes awesome until Whit over thinks things, there’s a steamy kiss and she flee’s.

    Time goes by … there isn’t a wedding and Whit is still thinking more and more about Lucas. They finally start spending more time together and all the feels from before are still there. Whit wants to act on them, Lucas really wants to act on them but Whit is having trouble with his line of part time work due to her history. It’s a bumpy road with lots of really funny times with the two of them as well as all the friends they have but thinks hit the breaks when Whit and Jessi (best gal pal) go to the club and she can’t hancle it.

    With help from his friends, Lucas starts making grand gestures to win her back and thank goodness it works in the end and we get the HEA. This could is to awesome not to come out the other side stronger what they’ve been through.

    Another great read from Andrea Johnston. I have been loving this Author and her work for a few years now. This latest release, I Don't is such a great read. The chemistry between the two mains characters, Whitney and Lucas is evident from the very beginning, going back to when they were teenagers. The supporting friends of both Whitney and Lucas were absolutely hysterical.
    I was able to read this book in one sitting on a rainy long weekend... perfect reading weather!!

    She did a fantastic job writing this story, pulls you in from the beginning with every chapter leaving you wanting more.
    I Don't is a rom-com about Whit and Lucas, Whit has been planning her dream wedding since she was 10 years old with one week to go before her wedding her world gets turned upside down with the help of her best friend, some puppies, Lucas and a road trip she learns a lot.
