    This story had such an interesting group of characters and a loving family feel amongst the inhabitants of ‘The Park’. I enjoyed that Laura was determined to be her own woman after her first disastrous marriage and to go after what she wanted. Frankie was just the right friend for her, to encourage her and to listen to her. This story has a murderer to uncover and a stepson intend on causing mischief. This was an entertaining read that had all the correct attitudes for the era.
