L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world’s wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.

The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly. That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their towns and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.

L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.

With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels.

Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet.

    Trask McCabe, President of Champion Rising, a Mason, a former SEAL and, former detective with the Sheriff's office. Champion is all about education. Teaching the Badass way, working with the Mason's to do it.
    Hannah Blackhawk is her father's daughter. A Protector and Enforcer, but her love is IT, and coding. Her road name, Coder2. She is interviewing for head of IT at Champion.
    Hannah is stunned when she meets Trask, she is a reader, and she can't read him. He is her one, and she is not ready. Her close brothers help her out thing in perspective.
    Trask has found his one and waste no time staking his claim. He knows Hannah needs time, and he gives it to her.
    There is trouble with the Masons.
    Freaky kids from Prince's are finding a new home with the various western clubs.
    The Alpha bits are in danger.
    The unknown threat from overseas tried again.
    The readers are seeing threats.
    Knight brings dogs.
    The Stooges make their appearance and offer guidance.
    Fun, fast paced and a little steamy. Loved Trask and Hannah. Loved seeing the Prince's kids grow up, as well as their parents and grandparents. A hint that the FBI, will have their chance to show. Can't wait for the next book.

    I had to give this one 5 stars ,plus I had to read it twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything !! This one was action packed with all the crazy that comes with the " L Ann " world 😁 . Loved the chemistry between Trask and Hannah, I think after Cort and Serene they might be my favorite couple ( new series) 😉. The crazy that comes with East Coast Bada$$ and THE STOOGES !!!! Is the Best !!!! I've missed them! I'm enjoying Alder growing into his " Little Pres " postion, anything about the Alpha Bits makes me smile. I think what I really enjoyed was how Trask started out wanting " normal " at his club because of the Mason ties yet wound up with crazy and getting Mason to run and accept BADA$$ !!
    I could go on , and on the book was that good but if you've never read L Ann Marie your really missing out !!

    This book and this series is absolutely amazing. I’m a book snob, so that’s saying something. They all read like an action movie with romance. But honestly, mostly like an action movie. You will laugh your booty off too. It’s hard to give a detailed review because without reading from the beginning of the series it won’t make sense. The romance aspect gets a little edgier with each new book I feel like. Which, I like. Start from the beginning of the series and you’ll fall in love with the characters. Truly, it’s a very fun series and you’ll even learn some life lessons along the way.

    Never realized how much I have missed the Stooges! Danny, Steve, and Tiny you have a special place in my heart!! Combine that with the Alpha bits and this is perfect!!     Wow once again L Ann Marie gives us another fantastic and slightly unorthodox story. Having met a lot of these characters in previous books, and meeting new here, it’s exciting to watch them develop and settle into the big Mc family, that makes this book even more special. Also learning who Trask McCabe is and what makes him the honourable Mason and Brother that he is. To add spice to this book the Princes and Mc kids are growing up and moving to find their place in the BSC. Enter Hannah who’s a Prince kid. What follows is a mixture of old and new faces making new memories and fighting off the bad guys who don’t quit! This book had me hooked from the first page to the last. If I wasn’t laughing out loud I was holding my breath in suspense. Fantastic book and series

    This series has always been a bit strange for me because my great uncle was a Mason. He was not at all cool in the way these Masons are cool, though I do have my suspicions about his exploits in Chile in the 1920s!

    Champion is the club that is mainly focused on the integrating Badass and the Masons, working towards equality and spreading the work of both organisations, far and wide.

    In this book we also see how BSC from the East Coast has become intertwined with the Phoenix Rising clubs. Several of the youngest generation from BSC have moved to the PBSC and the first we spend any time with is Hannah, one of Brantley’s adopted daughters. She’s a reader but her main focus is IT. She’s an interesting character and her Pres Trask is a good man who wants more women in the both the PBSC and the Masons.

    There are some very funny scenes with the Stooges, dogs and virtual creations. As always there are some spicy scenes and some violent ones. It’s always a good easy going read when one of these books come out. They are entertaining and fun. This book is no different and I really enjoyed the mashing up of the two parts of the Badass world.
