Alpha: Hollow Rock Shifters Book 3 Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 234 ratings

Lawson and Liv have experienced their fair share of hurdles. He's a shifter, she's human. He was held captive for three years by her former boss. Her best friend can't stand him. They faced every storm and came out stronger and more committed than ever. Happily ever after? Not quite. When Lawson's brother turns Ravin, he and Liv leave Safe Haven in search of him. Liv is convinced she can reverse the horrific side effects of the disease if they can find and capture him. Luckily, they find his brother and take him to Liv's lab for treatment, but when they return home, Lawson is thrown into a death match when a disgruntled pack member challenges his role as leader. Can Lawson defeat his enemy and follow in his father's footsteps as a revered Alpha, or will his dreams of sharing his life force with Liv die during the blood shed under a full moon?

Lawson and Liv return in another fascinating story that continues the intriguing Hollow Rock Shifters world. These strong, captivating characters still have tons of sizzling chemistry and red hot passion that fuels their romance. In Alpha, Lawson and Liv are struggling with Ryan’s imminent turn into a Ravin while Liv is still struggling to find a cure and they are also facing disgruntled pack members who are challenging for the Alpha role. The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on the edge of their seat with all of the exciting events that take place and the intrigue of betrayals, but most of all this story packs quite a punch on the emotional side of this story as all the characters face such troubling times. It seems as the couple’s relationship progresses toward the sharing of Lawson’s life force with Liv, the danger to the pack and especially to Liv increases. And someone is trying to keep the labs that experiment on shifters going which means that there are more shifters missing which causes some friction between Liv and her best friend as Lawson demands that some action be taken. The authors do a great job of making the world come to life and makes the characters very easy to connect to, so that readers want to come back for more. There was never a dull moment to be found in this story and I certainly can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happens next in the Hollow Rock Shifters series.

This third book in the Hollow Rock Shifter series is chock full of action, romance, passion and wit. There is such terrible tragedy in the story, but that is balanced by the triumphs - of good over evil, of love over hate, of loyalty over treachery. Liv and Lawson are a sizzling couple and they are in balance, too. She is the scientist who is trying to counteract the Ravin madness and he is the ferocious Alpha who will protect his people at all cost. Each contains elements of the other as well and so they complement and support the other. And their lust level is off the charts! I am cited to read the next arc and I recommend this book to all.

That's right two characters you hate challenge Lawson& Liv to fights. Also Jerry gets cured and released. They raid a facility or 2. Ryan runs away. He also shows up at Cassie's and turns Ravin. Incredible metal craftsmanship by Lawson. Bart turns against them. Jealousy is an evil emotion and can lead to unspeakable acts. The ending is something you knew would come just not who was with the police. And Liv's mom shares good news.

I love this series. Liv & Lawson have been through so much and now there bond is stronger then ever. Between helping Ryan who has turned Ravin and being challenged, Liv & Lawson can’t seem to catch a break. This series will have you hooked and I can’t wait too see what happens next.

I gave this book a 5 star rating because I Iove wolves and this is a thrilling, intriguing story about a human, Liv, who proves she is worthy and capable of becoming the mate of the Alpha wolf Lawson.
They have many obstacles to overcome and Liv proves she can handle herself in any situation. Even being challenged to a "fight to the death" by a female wolf shifter who wants to rule the pack with Lawson.
The attraction between Liv and Lawson is smoking hot! She not only loves his sexy human side but his magnificent wolf as well.

Another great addition to the Hollow Rock Shifters saga. This book is jam-packed full of one obstacle after another as Liv and Lawson try to cure the Ravin madness that is afflicting the unmated members of the shifter community, maintain control of the Hollow Rock wolf clan, and stop the human scientists from kidnapping and killing the wolf shifters they’ve captured. I can’t wait for the release of “Ravin” Book 4 of the series! I graciously received a review copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving this review.

I liked this book very much. Great characters, plot and storyline.
You have a male Alpha shifter and a human woman who go through a lot of trouble before they get married and mated for life.
There is a difference in how she becomes a woman who has a long life ahead of her with her husband/mate.

This is a great shifter story. I really enjoy Brenda Trim and Tami Julka’ s paranormal romances. If you love shifters then this is a must read

This is book 3 of a series and you definitely need to read them in order. Olivia and Lawson are fighting for Ryan’s life (Lawson’s brother). He is turning Ravin and they are hoping that the cure they used on another wolf will work on Ryan. Not only are they fighting against Ryan turning Ravin, there are pack issues that need to be resolved as well as finding out that PRL is still kidnapping and killing wolves and trying to shut them down. There is a lot going on in this book with no rest for Liv and Lawson. The ending dropped a bomb and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.

Lots of sex in the story but there’s also a good paranormal aspect within it to. Main Characters are likeable and there’s a thread to the next book. I hope Jeremiah gets his own book and Bart gets whatever he deserves.
