The short? You got it.

I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.

How was that?

A little more detail? Gotcha.

I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.

My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as they have a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.

Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

Nora Phoenix poured her heart / talent into this Irresistible Omega’s series. Book 1 is full of suspense and I could only pauze the book when I needed to get clarification on something I missed. This book has all the building blocks for me: a non-traditional romance is put forward in the end, the characters were described and each of the four men got their role in the romance, there is a solid plot runs trough the story, and the icing on the cake is the approach to pack life/shifters. In all the books I’ve read, I have not seen this point of view and it thrills me; I acquired a gem. Cherry no. 2 on the cake is the narration done by Jon Solo. He can pour some major emotions in his voices. Gives me chills. I’ve enjoyed listening to this book immensely. ❤️

    Wow! This book is impressive.

    I'll start with the very few criticisms I have. It's not as spicy as I was expecting. The spicy is there, but it's not as graphic as I'm used to in books. And the world building is a bit drawn out. It takes awhile to really understand some of the background info.

    With that said I loved this book. The characters are all so interesting and fleshed out. The relationships are beautiful. And the world is so rich. Plus the plot is really interesting, I am so excited to read the rest of the series to find out more about what's happening.

    The first time I tried to read this book I put it down after a few pages as I didn't see how a mmmm romance could work.I was looking for something too read and came across this one again while I was surfing on my Kindle. I thought I would give it a try again, so glad I did! This book was very good and well written .I loved all the main characters and I love alpha beta and omega as well. Plot was well developed and thought out.There. is a cliff hanger but the next book is already out.there is an ongoing back story as well. Will definitely be reading the next book in series!!

    Another great omegaverse book, this time in a modern setting.

    The players:
    Lidon – Alpha. Cop. Commanding but tender.
    Enar – Alpha. Doctor. Caring but also needs to be taken care of.
    Palani – Beta. Reporter. A bit too mouthy for his own good.
    Vieno – Omega. Personal assistant. Sweet, dipped in sugar and everyone wants to lick him.

    It’s suppose to be an MMMM romance, and in a way it is, but in this first book there isn’t any sex where all four men are involved. There is plenty of sex however between… well… all of them, just not together. The heat level is off the charts.

    Palani and Vieno are childhood friends and lovers, but complications with his heat require that Vieno take on an alpha’s help, because Palani, as a beta is not enough. His doctor Enar, who’s very understanding and compassionate, could help, but he’s not strong and dominant enough to handle Vieno, so the good doctor asks his best friend for help. Lidon thinks they all crazy. But there’s something about the little omega that draws him in, also his not a heartless bastard to just leave an omega in pain.

    The dynamic between the men got disrupted thanks to that encounter and other more pressing issues. There’s confusion and heartbreak. Around the 50% mark I felt I was reading two books with two couples (and I mean that as a compliment). One couple was more romantic, sweet, and tender with each other, while the other couple was more playful and they were still in the early stages of them getting to know each other. But at the same time the four of them belonged together and it was there all along just below the surface, the author didn’t let us forget that.

    There’s also a hint of mystery in the story, regarding birth control pills and suicidal omegas, and their profession connects them together even more, even Vieno. He’s kind of in the center of all this.

    So we didn’t see the four men together yet, and we also didn’t see the mystery get solved. The whole thing will unfold in the second book. I loved how the author – deliberately or not, but definitely in a clever way – dragged it out. The four men needed to go slow, otherwise it would’ve felt very rushed, and sloppy, it would’ve been all about the sex.

    Highly recommend it to omegaverse lovers, but keep in mind their story isn’t finished, there’s a second book, and there will be a third? We’ll see.

    Alpha's Sacrifice is book one in the Irresistible Omegas series. This Story is centered around four men Lidon (Alpha), Enar (Alpha/Beta), Palani (Beta), and Vieno (Omega). Through twisted range of events they end up making a go of it in a relationship together.
    While this is happening they discover a plot within the Police and medical community that threatens all omegas. Deciding to fortify themselves they take refuge on Lidon's ranch and starts to build their own sustainable home while figuring out how to deal with the issues beating on their door.
    I have mixed feeling about this book overall. The characters are great. I enjoy their interactions and banter. However some scenes are a little long winded and repeat things that have already been said (Sometimes more than once). The romance and love in this book is v ry touching as well. The lengths they go do make sure they all feel loved and included is quite touching.
    I do wish there was more plot though. It seems at quite a few points, the fact that there is a plot, gets lost.
    Overall I'm glad I read it and I fully intend do continue the series to see what happens. It really has a lot of potential.

    How do you mange to write 4 people in love and do it well? Nora Phoenix is setting a template.
    Omegaverse already is hard niche to write and often it's a hit or a miss and to add more than 2 lovers is just ambitious. But I'm happy to report it was good and then some.
    Mainly because along with steamy scenes and the relationship development, we get to read a political suspense too. There's so much going on here but nothing feels out of place. There's no over reaching and you don't feel as if you're sacrificing logic to see these beautiful men come together.
    I think book 2 is going to be a blast. On to my next one lads!
