July 1816, one of the wettest summers in living memory. Committed to marrying a man she dislikes, Amara is determined to make the most of her freedom but doesn’t expect to fall violently in love with Louis Harland, a member of the cartel of aristocratic younger sons dedicated to protecting the prince’s interests.
Torn between his duty to the prince and his growing attraction towards Amara, Louis despairs when the prince invites a Greek deputation to Brighton, assuming he will be able to heal the rift between the two nations. I’m a British author, brought up on the Isle of Wight and share my life with a handsome rescued Spanish Podenco called Markos.

I’ve had over one hundred books published, ranging from Regency romance, (my first love), to contemporary women’s fiction and marine crime mysteries.

When not writing I walk miles, make half-hearted attempts to retain flexibility by attending yoga classes, read other people’s tomes…oh, and I’m on a one woman mission to keep the wine trade profitable!

Intriguing story intertwining several different couples and friend lives. I love that the story gives you a glimpse of what happens to other characters in the previous book. Strong women in the era when women were treated poorly. Men who appreciate a strong woman. Full of adventure and romance.
