    This book definitely doesn’t read like a new author. It will intrigue you and keep you hooked till the end. Pay attention to the details. You don’t want to miss a thing. I’m also looking forward to the next. You won’t be disappointed to read it.

    Art of Revenge is the debut book of Cara Cee.

    This story follows Kelly and Jarrod, two friends which met in a taekwondo class. Kelly experienced a life changing moment when she was 17 years old, so acting on grief, anger and pain she made some choices which affected her life and which caught up with her when she wanted to restore herself. Jarrod also had a rough life, loosing his parents in a car accident, he is the one taking care of his little sister. His dream is to be a policeman, to help other people and to get rid of bad people who might hurt others. Kelly and Jarrod are good friends, there is chemistry between them and some feelings, but they don't act on it, because they have some other priorities in life. But when they start something, Kelly has the things she did, crashing down on her. Will their love survive this mess?

    I've gone a little bit blind into this book, so didn't know what to expect. I liked the premise and the plot, but felt that something was missing. It kept me connected, but at some point it got predictable. Also it was a little bit slow in the beginning, but then it picked up. It was an enjoyable read, with a good plot and characters, and a happily-ever-after.

    I am blown away that this is a debut novel from this author, and she has done an outstanding job in weaving this tale. Kelly has a shattering experience which sends he on a downward spiral, and this story picks up 10-years later. Jarrod and Kelly have both got heartbreaking pasts, and the chemistry between them is sizzling and undeniable. This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, and has heartbreak, revenge, emotional highs and lows, and love. I look forward to reading more from this talented author and I recommend her work.

    5 Vengeful Stars!! Fantastic debut novel for Cara Cee! You've definitely got a fan in me!

    Kelly had a traumatic event that occurred in high school which has scarred her. Cut to ten years later, she's still trying to deal with that which constantly put her on the defense. Kelly always had a thing for Jarrod, but he friend-zoned her and that's where she has stayed. Jarrod also is battling his own demons, but he's so sweet and deep down knows he loves Kelly. These two have to try and maneuver through their pasts and somehow maybe try to make a relationship happen.

    I don't even know where to start! I have to say that this being Cara Cee's debut novel, it's just pure perfection! There's nothing to hate about this book at all. The story is compelling, the characters are pure and you will be sucked in the minute you start reading!

    Wow! I am very impressed with this debut book, the storyline is solid and the characters are easy to like and relate to—well okay maybe not the baddies! 😉

    The story starts with an absolutely heartbreaking and shattering experience for one of the lead characters, Kelly, and then her story continues ten years later. Both timeframes are important and as the story unfolds we understand why more and more. The start was a little slow going after the prologue but nothing too dramatic and then the pace picks up and it’s hard to put the book down.

    Jarrod, the other lead character, is almost too good to be true but he does show his emotions and at times stumbles, displaying his vulnerabilities, which was more realistic. Together Kelly and Jarrod had a lot of chemistry and sexual tension from denying their attraction for so long.

    Great descriptions help to build a clear visual storyboard. There are many emotional highs and lows throughout the book and you feel them with the characters as well, as you would expect with this title! It truly is the perfect title for this story.

    I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
