Assassin Zero (An Agent Zero Spy Thriller—Book #7) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 1,063 ratings

“You will not sleep until you are finished with AGENT ZERO. A superb job creating a set of characters who are fully developed and very much enjoyable. The description of the action scenes transport us into a reality that is almost like sitting in a movie theater with surround sound and 3D (it would make an incredible Hollywood movie). I can hardly wait for the sequel.”
--Roberto Mattos, Books and Movie Reviews

When a mysterious ultrasonic weapon attack may be the preamble to something greater, Agent Zero sets off on a global manhunt to stop the ultimate devastation before it is too late.

Agent Zero, trying to come up for air on the heels of the President’s impeachment and Sarah’s close brush with danger, wants to retire from the service and try to get his family back together. But fate has other choices for him. With the safety of the world at stake, Zero knows he must follow the call to duty.

Yet his memories are shifting, and with it, new secrets are flooding back. Tormented, at his low point, Agent Zero may be able to save the world—but he may not be able to escape from himself.

ASSASSIN ZERO (Book #7) is an un-putdownable espionage thriller that will keep you turning pages late into the night.

I love to read about Agent Zero. He is always in action and sometimes in the Nick of time. All the characters have become old friends and seem like family. Jack Mars is an excellent author for action, intrigue and adventure. He keeps you on edge of you seat and you can't wait to turn the next page to see what happens next. A great read for action and thrilling drama.

I've been reading the entire "Zero" series and Just finished this book yesterday. They are quick reads - not only is the action first rate but the books are relatively short. I think this one was about 280 pages.
I suppose I'm jaded but you just know when a character is in dire circumstances, there will always be someone coming to the rescue. And (Spoiler Alert) just how many times are we to believe a character can jump out of a helicopter onto a speeding vehicle before it strains credibility?
I also think the issues with Zero's daughters have become tedious and a needless distraction.
All that being said (or, actually, written) I continue to enjoy the series and and looking forward to reading Book #8!
But, please, stay aboard the helo, Zero. You're not getting any younger!

The twists will keep you thinking and your interest will make you want to read the next sentence, the next paragraph, the next chapter - possibly the entire book before you set the book down.

I rad Books 1 -7 in a very short space of time.

My journey into ready this series started when I got an email from the author offering me Book 6 for free. I also received a similar email offering a free download for Book 7 too. I am on the mailing list because I thoroughly enjoyed the Luke Stone series he had written. I read the summary of the books and knew this was a series I wanted to read.

I always start a book with number 1 in the series so I went to Amazon and purchased and downloaded the first 2 books. And I was hooked. I quickly followed this purchase with books 3, 4 and 5.

Still in love with the series and loving the repeat characters as well as new ones, I actually made the decision to purchase both 6 and 7 to support this author.

Now I have to wait for the other books in the series to be published. I have pre-ordered them today and look forward to reading 8, 9, 10 and 11. What I liked that the author did in the the books was provide a brief summary of what had happened in the previous books.

Now I am going to read the Foraging of Luke Stone books.

Say too much happening, still a good read, I just don't like so much happening at the same time, but, again, I would still recommend it until Baldacci comes out with a new book.

Assassin Zero, Number 7 in the Agent Zero series, is the best adventure yet. There is a real sense of danger in these pages, not just for Agent Zero, Strickland and Maria, but for Reid's daughters as well. Mr. Mars has come up with a weapon of mass destruction that I sure hope is fiction. Every facet of this novel is exciting and the suspense is relentless. I have tried not to spoil the fun too much.

I cannot wait for Agent Zero's next adventure, it will be a stunner after the ending of this story. The suspense is just beginning. If you're new to the series, start from the beginning; it is just too great a series to miss any of what has come before it. But do take the leap! Well done, Mr. Mars, keep them coming! I will be a life-long fan.

Jack Mars grips me the way Robert Ludlum did, I can’t stop reading an agent zero novel. His storytelling is captivating and his characters are really likable and mix in some crazy action and there is his formula. I can’t wait to start book 8!

Another brilliant chapter in the life of Agent Zero. We continue to be there with him while he sorts his relationship out with his daughters and Maria. Then he gets a call taking him away from Thanksgiving with them to battle a threat from a new form of weapon.
Zero is also having memory problems which could have an effect on his actions as an agent. Definitely worth reading to find out how this all pans out. Superb as was the rest of the series.
