    I have read this book over and over again. Each time I love it more and more. Who could not fall in love with Ashley and Corie. A big star and a hometown girl just trying to figure out how to live their life. You will need to read Background Noise first then Backwoods Belle, but in the paper back I received it had both!! I love that Ashley wants nothing more than to do his music and be normal and Corie comes into his life and not only does he want normal he now has more purpose. Corie struggles with everything that comes with being with Ashley, though no matter what its always just him that make her realize that she is perfect just the way she is.

    Ashley knew Corie was something special the moment he saw her 5 months ago and he's spent every moment making her believe it. As a couple, their chemistry is off the charts, but they also have to deal with the everyday frustrations of the fame, the fortune, and being coworkers. Backwoods Belle is the continuation novel of Background Noise, it is a story of love and all that comes with it.

    Talk about a love story, Ashley and Corie are the definition of one. They're glowing, they're happy, they face the odds, and they defy expectations. It isn't a story filled with the usual romance cliches, but is a novel filled with the rather mundane things we take for granted that really make love, well...love. Ashley may be a hot shot rockstar, but his backwoods, country heart fell for the simplicities that make Corie beautiful. They're a unique couple with a fast-paced romance that reads like they share a lifetime of history.

    Erotic is definitely a sub-genre for Backwoods Belle and though I knew it was labelled as such, I was definitely not prepared for the amount of sexy-time going on between Corie and Ashley. I love them as a couple, I felt their connection, and I am all for hanky-panky, but it did take away from the story for me a bit. My enjoyment of Backwoods Belle was no different than Martin's previous work, but the strength of the story line was weakened for me.

    Backwoods Belle is R.C. Martin's latest release in a string of heartfelt, honest romance novels that readers will fall head over heels with. Corie and Ashley are a beautiful couple with palpable chemistry and a romance we can all only hope for. Whether you're looking for love with a side of spice or a good, clean HEA, Martin has something for every one.

    I am such a big fan of this author and I think she is really talented. I have read a lot of her books and she has this great ability to create two characters that fall in love and go through conflict together but rise above it. Great examples of this is her Mountains and Men series as well as The Promises We Keep. The list could go on and on really. Unfortunately, for me this book fell short of all that I love about this author. There has to be conflict in a relationship because that is how the characters learn and grow. I know this is going to sound insane but this book just wasn't believable. I wasn't drawn to the two characters because they seemed like fake figments that never fought with each other and constantly had sex. I didn't see any depth to the two main characters. I think if you want an easy read that really won't make you feel anything this could be the book for you. For example, in the book The Promises We Keep, I could feel the heartbreak and confusion rolling off Addison and Beckham. There was conflict there and pain that truly touched me as a reader and all I wanted them to do was work it out but it was nice to see the progression to that. In the Mountains and Men series you could feel how Millie didn't think she was worthy of love and the fight that Sage had to go through to prove her wrong. These are all examples of what this book is lacking. I think she tried to go there with Corie getting used to being with Ashley in the spotlight and the gossip magazines talking about her but there was only blips of that. The cover of the book is super creative and I have high hopes for the next book about Jill and Leo because I know that book will have all the elements that I know this author can write. If anyone is new to this author and reads my review please read all of her work because RC Martin is truly great at what she does. I know I am going to be a long time fan of her work and even though this review pains me to post, I still really value and appreciate her literary style.

    Backwoods Belle is such a sweet love story. If you like fairytale romances you will love this. Ashley is the perfect hero and Corie is one of the sweetest and most likeable heroines out there. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a sweet yet very steamy low angst romance.
