    Loved the reference of my person to describe Madden and Evan's not relationship. There were so many laugh out loud moments throughout the book which I found delightful. Madden had the best boss in River and can't wait for his book. King and Casper make cameos. Low angst with Evan's father being in prison and trying to keep in touch with him. Don't think I didn't forget that tidbit about Hayden too. The sex was off the charts. This series just takes you into a world where you don't want to leave and feel like you live in NG as a member of the community and you frequent the establishments. That's what I consider awesome writing talent. Can't wait for next story. I highly recommend the whole NG books.

    This was a 3.5 star read and I fluctuated on whether to round it up to 4 or down to 3. Down won because it was a bit choppy in the beginning and rushed to the end with some ridiculousness to the plot points that were supposed to be serious.

    With that said, it was a read that I really enjoyed. I think that's down to Madden being a bit irresistible. No matter how I hated the way Evan treated him in the beginning, I could not stop reading this once I started. The middle chunk and towards the end is the best, where they dance around being something more serious before Madden becomes Evan's person. There's cuteness and heat in there that really worked for me.
