My Big Fat Fake Wedding Kindle Edition
#1 in the Kindle Store.
He needs a wife.
I need a husband.
It’s just temporary… what could go wrong?
I’ve always wanted the fairy tale wedding. Not for the princess perfect dress or big party, but for Papa.
My grandfather. The only father figure I’ve ever known.
It’s his dying wish to walk me down the aisle.
Gee, no pressure.
But I can grant that wish...
I just have to fake being head over heels in love with Ross Andrews, my best friend's big brother whom I embarrassingly crushed on all through high school.
Handsome. Knockout sexy. Arrogant jerk extraordinaire.
Our childish pranks and tit-for-tat battles were legendary. Then I grew up.
Not that he ever noticed.
I know it’s a terrible idea, and we’re both in over our heads.
It could be the wedding of a lifetime or a total disaster.
How do we make it to the altar without killing each other first?
Or without falling in love for real?
My Big Fat Fake Wedding is a full-length romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger.

Overview: Violet was having a bad day. Her grandpa aka Papa was in the hospital. Violet wants to give him the best gift and decides to find a good guy and marry fast. But when Colin calls off the wedding, Violet freaks out, most things are paid for and now she doesn’t know what to do. Ross has had a good live, single, makes good money at the family business. But his dad was mad at the popperotzie posted a fake ritual, and now he has to find a bride. Abby is s, rosse’s sisters best friend. . And Ross as always likedViolet and toasted her growing up. Now the 2 plan a fake wedding but also find the true feeling for each other. But old news brake durning the wedding. But the two find true love.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2020My Big Fat Fake Wedding is a stand-alone book.
Violet is engaged to Colin, who breaks it off publicly, wanting her to make a scene and grovel for his love. She walks. The thing she is most heartbroken over is that her Grandpa, who she loves dearly, won't live long enough to walk her down the aisle at her wedding.
Ross is a playboy who works in the family business. His weekend fun has caused a scandal or two too many and his Dad and the business board are pushing him to marry and settle down.
Ross's sister is Violet's best friend. She feels that the perfect answer is that they have a fake marriage. Keep it going as long as Grandpa lives and until the dust settles at Ross's job.
It all goes to hell when they start actually having feelings for each other and the truth comes out at the reception. This has a lot of funny moments and more than a few far fetched moments. Overall a fun, if not realistic, read.

What do you do when your grandfather is sick and only wants to walk you down the aisle? Well, if you’re Violet, you find a man to marry and plan a wedding in less than 6 months time. But then what do you do when said fiancée changes his mind less than a month out? Find another fiancée!
This is a story with a lot of some expected and unexpected twists. Violet and Ross, her best friends older brother, have known each other for years and have never liked each other. Or, have they always liked each other but hid it in snarky comments and biting banter. What they do have is a need to be married for different reasons. And, in their desires to fix their respective situations, they discover that there’s a lot more going on with their friendship and that loving each other is a real possibility.
This was a cute and, at times, very dramatic story. Some of the drama seemed unnecessary and unfair to the main characters. But, it was still enjoyable especially because Ms Landish can write a sexy hot and fun sex scene!

- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2019Man this book had a lot of things I like in it. We have childhood enemies, the hero is the brother of the heroines best friend, and there is a fake wedding. Woot woot.
My problem with fake weddings is often the reasoning, if it’s not good, it throws off my enjoyment of the whole book. For Violet, it’s all about her grandfather, the man who raised her, who is on borrowed time and he one real last wish is walking her down the aisle. After her engagement falls throw, he only option is her childhood nemesis. It’s a good set up for me and I bought it. As for Ross, he is basically a society page regular, and the headlines are not good, it’s not looking good for the shareholders, and his dad is basically threatening him to settle down or risk losing his job and his family legacy: outside of thinking his dad is a jerk, I bought into this too.
As adults these two definitely are more on the teasing/sass side of things, but as kids man, Ross really picked on Violet, and she definitely carried that teasing with her back then. I like how these two went into this though, they negotiated, and went full force into it. Not only that but when it came to uncomfortable conversations with others or awkward situations, they backed each other up without any hesitation.
That being said, being a fake wedding, you know the truth will always come out, and of course at the most inappropriate moment. And boy did it in this book. And the consequences were hard and serious. It was genuinely sad, and hard to read. But I love the angst so I was totally on board. I definitely want to read more by this author in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really nice
It’s a really nice and all lovey dovey book that give you good feels however it is too long..although after completing it I will agree that to develop the characters and let readers get really into it, it was required for the book to be long

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fantastic Story
My Big Fat Fake Wedding was a fantastic story, but I have to say I wasn't sure about it to start with. Still, I soon changed my mind, and found it to be an utterly absorbing and entertaining read. And I loved the enemies to lovers/fake engagement trope this story delivers. Even though there was a great deal more to this tale than enemies falling in love and fake engagements. Including complex characters, family drama, humour, emotion and heat; and for me, that's what made it so delightful and pleasing to read. And I would definitely recommend it to others. As it was such a well written fun, engaging story, that perfectly blended all those different elements really well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Desgraça

3.0 out of 5 stars Es war gut
Es brauchte ein bisschen, bis ich in die Geschichte schlüpfen könnte, aber dann hat sie mich gepackt. Es hat Spaß gemacht, das Buch zu lesen und es war gute Unterhaltung. Es war aber nichts Besonderes.
