She is about to retire and he is just starting his career. She wants a fling and he wants forever. He has some growing up to do and she is afraid of the age difference.
    Great younger man older women story. Told entirely from Gunner's point of view. Fast paced and steamy, with a lot of drama and angst.

    A good cougar read. One of the better cougar reads that I have gotten a hold of but, I have to say that any guy that is so large that he hurts a woman because of his size doesn't know how to use his tool very well unless that kind of use is consensual between both parties. I know there are lots of .an that like it rough and women too, but he could have at least found someone more his size, don't you think. But I also know that you can't always choose who you love because they are chosen by the heart for use. I say a little disappointed with this book because of the guys behavior but it turned out good in the end. Just my opinion though.😉

    Okay I haven't picked up such a fun read in ages. This is one of those stories you can devour in one sitting and you'll probably want to. I loved the attitude and voice of this author. You get exactly what it says on the cover- a sexy badass story. I can see I'm going to become addicted to these-- have already bought the next two in the series--so I do hope this author has plenty of them planned. Recommended for those that love sexy military romances and anyone that just enjoys a seriously sexy quickie.

It is also the first book that I've read by Dani Stowe but I know that she is one author that I will be looking out for new stories to read as this one is so well written. Camilla Mandely who is  Battalion Commander Lieutenant has just turned 40 and will be retiring soon as she is worried that she could be court martialed and sent to prison because she is having an affair with a subordinate - namely Gunner who is 21 years old and her driver.  She also doesn't want to destroy his career if they are found out.  But she hasn't appreciated just how deeply in love and how much he loves her.  She breaks up with him just as he's about to be deployed overseas but Gunner is nothing, if not determined, and he's determined that she is the One for him! When he returns none months later, he doesn't know whether she will be waiting for him.  Will there be heartbreak for these two lovers?  Dani Stowe writes with passion with a capital P and with these two lovers there is plenty of that.  But what is also so charming is the way they also cherish each other and are so loving which illustrates that this isn't just some fling between two people but a deep and profound love that could develop and grow into a lifelong story of lasting love. To find out, you're going to have to do what I did, get a copy of this story and enjoy the story by meeting the characters who are so well developed and discover if they get their own HEA,

    WARNING: This is a red HOT and steamy novel - have your fans at the ready to switch to maximum freeze to combat the steam ;)

    DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
