100% Biodegradable Comic Collection: An action packed sci fi adventure comics anthology from creators around the globe. Kindle Edition
"The kind of wonderful craziness we’ve come to demand of the creators involved" – John Freeman, Titan Magazines Editor.
Bursting forth from the minds of some of the most talented creators working in the UK comics industry today come 25 darkly humorous sci fi and horror tales that will slither deep into your subconscious, and build a nest in your brain.
In ‘Poor Taste’ by David Hailwood (Toxic, Strip Magazine) and Neill Cameron (Pirates Of Pangaea, Tamsin And The Dark) an outbreak of vampirism at a Chinese restaurant puts staff and customers alike on the menu.
In ‘Sideburns’ by Jim Alexander (Heavy Metal, 2000ad) and Jon Haward (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Frank Frazetta Fantasy Illustrated) a hard-boiled private eye is faced with the difficult choice of sacrificing one life to save another…providing he can save his own skin first.
In ‘Spare Parts’ by David Hailwood and Tony Suleri (Slumdroid, Cosmogenesis) a grimy scavenger stumbles upon a corpse in the sewers, and immediately sets to work ensuring that no part of the body will go to waste.
In ‘First Impressions’ by Graeme Neil Reid (Commando, Judge Dredd Megazine) peaceful alien explorers land on Earth and attempt to make contact with its inhabitants. Just on slight snag – it’s 85,000,000 B.C. and dinosaurs rule the planet.
In ‘Expendable Eddie’ by David Hailwood and Neil Alexander (Futurequake, The Good Guys) a class of young biology students are treated to a visit from everyone’s favourite dissectible clone.
All this, and more awaits you inside the first 100% Biodegradable Comic Collection, which pulls together the best strips from issues 1 to 6 of the long running cult digital comic.
If you’re a fan of action packed twist in the tale stories, served up with lashings of wonderful carnage and mayhem, then this one’s for you.

About the authors
Stewart is a regular contributor for the legendary British anthology comic 2000AD for whom he illustrated the 12 issue series ‘Defoe, The Divisor’, a ‘clock punk’ zombie horror epic set in 17th century London, written by Pat Mills (Marshall Law, Nemesis the Warlock, Charlie’s War).
Stewart previously adapted Robert Louis Stevenson’s Scottish horror classic ‘Thrawn Janet’ to comics and created the 70 page surreal comics scifi ‘The Bootes Void’ under the pseudonym ‘Booda’ for Ace’s Weekly Comic Anthology.
Prior to that he adapted William Shakespeare’s ‘The Tragedie of Macbeth’ as a 89 page black and white graphic novel.
Beyond comics Stewart is a painter and actor. His growing list of film and tv appearances now includes Wheel of Time. A full list of credits can be found on IMDB.
Stewart is a previously published illustrator for The Prague Post, The Wall Street Journal and Esquire Magazine. Raised in Scotland, he lives and works in Prague with his wife and two sons.
Stewart is a regular guest artist at Prague Comic Con.
David Hailwood was raised in a somewhat surreal youth hostel on the south coast of England, where it was perfectly commonplace for hordes of swarthy Vikings in full battle regalia to charge upon the premises, without having booked a reservation first.
Over the past twenty years his brain matter has leaked onto the pages of over 30 different comic publications, including Egmont's best selling children's comic 'Toxic'. He has written comedy material for ITV and E4, and been shortlisted for two BBC sitcom writing competitions.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2020I thought the mini stories in this graphic novel is good. Very creative storylines and good art. I read other mini stories from other creators and i think this one is probably the best one. You also cant beat the price for a physical or digital copy of this. I end up buying the digital copy. ...i just wish they had a hardcover for all the biodegradable comic collection in one.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2024I've read this series online before, and many of the issues featured here were in color. Making the whole book b&w makes some artwork hard to look at or understand.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome
Reading this book is like looking inside the head of 12 yo myself. I really enjoy something new and fresh. Definitely buying all these collections!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun read.
Without making any needless comparisons to other comics (as one user did relentlessly on all issues for some obtuse reason), I found this quite enjoyable.
Just turn off your brain and enjoy the stories and the artwork. There's definitely some great stuff here.

I'm liking the stories, however I am disappointed that the comic is black and white

3.0 out of 5 stars This comic is in colour.
The comic looks good on my kindle. It's the first, of the 'Biodegradable comic collection.' A good selection of stories. Good. Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bargain
When I look in my newsagents some thin comics are more expensive than this collection. Its a fiver for a bumper collection of talent that would fit well on the pages of 200AD Future Shocks. Great fun.
